Srg4CP - Policies
srg91
From my experience as a senior cabinet minister, advisor, as well as my extensive understanding of the game mechanics, I could only conclude that this game is in fact too fast paced for any direct ideas to form. For the older players, the battle for WSR changed the Romanians from an expanding empire to a shelled up regional country overnight and Spain’s epic fail of losing 25kish gold to the Hungry are two rather memorable moments that changed the balance of the game over night. For the younger player, from the gangbang of Indonesia to USA being hit by multiple different countries all with in a week shows that any detailed policy/planning can not be made at the start of a presidential election or term.
With that said, it is important to understand that whilst direct policies can not be made as of now, a good mindset, and a general goal should be the key to any successful country president.
Foreign Affairs:
Until recently, eAustralia has been under complete occupation. Talks between eIndo and eAus are going underway regarding region release. If elected, I aim to continue these talks with our eIndo counterparts. Whilst I understand that the recent resistance war for NSW was won with strong eBrazillian support, I can not help but question its true intention. I must raise the question of, why were our allies not there for us during senate election times. Why must the eBrazillian army liberate our country only when they themselves are under attack?
The other issue I must address is our membership in Eden. On the forums, talks and polls has began regarding being in this alliance actually benefits us as a nation. My personal opinion aside, the forum as of now show a strong indication that we, as eAustralian are unsatisfied regarding our treatment within the Eden community.
I acknowledge that whilst they have helped us in the past in different battles, I feel Eden has forgotten that we, as a nation have assisted Eden in many of their fights as well. I feel that it is time for our country to decide if we wish to leave an alliance that no longer supports or cares about us.
To sum up my major foreign affair directions:
1. Continue Region negotiations with eIndo government in good faith.
2. Discuss and decide and finalise if we as a nation should leave or stay in EDEN. Please note that we will have the option to keep our mpps as the same, the only major difference will be that we no longer pay any membership fees to an alliance that has provided us with next to no support in recent times.
Defense:
In terms of defense, I will be working closely to keep communications with Terra and Eden. I believe that although we may be looking at leaving an alliance, friends and allies will still be friends and allies 😛
. As a nation, I believe that we should still aim to support these allies to the best of our ability, may it be via MPPs or RWs.
One other thing I will be looking into is to keep stronger communication between all eAussies MUs, to entire that their individual military ideals and the ideals of eAus Government form some form of agreement. The main reason for this is because, provided that all or majority of eAus MUs fight as a united group, we can affect a battle more effectively and allow us to appear more valuable to our allies.
To sum up my department of defense directions:
1.Continue to support our allies and friends with military influence to the best of our abilities
2.Strengthen eAus MU ties to the government, which allows us to be more effective against our enemies and more valuable to our allies.
Finance:
Looking from previous records as well as my recent conversation to venja, eAustralia financial growth has taken a halt. I believe the main contributor to this factor is lack of bonus due to no regions (which affects productivity), as well as a decline in active participation in the eAussie market, which is also revolved around lack of region. Due to these factors, the past month budget has become break even.
In this coming term, I aim to add roughly (roughly 40 to 50k aud) to our reserve bank. In order to allow this to happen, certain MPPs, after careful review will be dropped. I aim to reduce the amount of MPPs to roughly 7 to 10. One factor is that this allows us to have daily wars, but also because this allows us to concentrate on certain battles. This tie closely to ensuring our military can focus on key battles and unite to ensure the maximum damage will be done.
The other main financial factor will be looking into effective ways to decrease the overall spending of the ADF, whilst keeping the supply amount similar. I believe there may be certain spending that can possibly be reduced and my team will discuss and form a conclusion from our findings.
I believe, if the above two conditions are met, our reserve bank will easily be able to fund our troops effectively whilst saving up Aud for future uses.
Summary for Finance:
1. Aim to save at least 10% of the upcoming month income
2. Reduce MPPs to meet this target, but also allows our military units to focus on battles. This allows us to be more effective.
3. Look into ways of reducing ADF funding whilst maintaining the current amount of supplies.
Education and Information:
One thing I have always promoted was communication. Whilst most of my communications are generally done behind the scenes in chats or messages, I understand and can appreciate the difference of having communication to the public regarding events that has happened in our community.
Communication for my term will be broken up in 3 major sections, forum, my own paper as well as general cabinet information. On the forums, communication will be focused upon discussion of issues between government and the people.
On my own paper, I aim to publish at least a weekly article discussing my views/cabinet views on particular important matter and will provide (or attempt to provide) different suggestions to these topics. There is also a chance for me to make major announcements.
In the information articles made by the department of information, weekly articles will be released regarding the progression that has been made during the week. These will not be detailed, rather an overview of the cabinet.
One other related topic will be education articles. These will be released roughly twice a week to educate our new players. By having these different layers of communication, I think our nation will become more involved and active in our community.
Summary:
1. Aim to keep communication between cabinet and players. There will be 3 major ways, forum, my paper and department of information’s paper.
2. Continue to publish education papers, roughly twice a week to encourage new players to join our community.

I look forward to you performing the breaking of the the fishes and the loaves.
Infin, Jesus did it, Lucky Srg91 is better than Jesus.
Interesting perspective (and timing)
Yesterday Lancer calls a cabinet meeting and advertised as public, then only after the Government found out that I was coming did Lancer do a back flip and close the meeting doors. Not without note, the substance of the meeting was ways that Srg could be helped out during the election according to Cabinet sources.
Here we have a Minister using a Government position to further his own e-political career, and a Prime Minister who is supposed to take on a position of state interfere with the political process.
The corruption eats like rust, our once-solid moral structural beams disintegrating to dust in the halls of power.
Good job spinning TJ, You spin the stories right round right round, Like a record player right round right round.
Can you point out which part of this involved using Cabinet sources without public acknowledgment TJ?
For region agreement topic, I had made an announcement in the DoD paper. Yes, I have faster knowledge then you, but it is made completely public and I have not released any details regarding the content of the deal.
Also, regarding alliance issue, I have also included a link to the forums. That vote has been on for almost 1 day.
Instead of whining/bitching about my information, why don't you propose what your policies are? I am trying to offer up some solutions to some long standing problems eAus has been faced.
Also, just putting this out there, I was the one who stayed up until 3am talking to my eIndo counterparts, I have worked hard and beyond my job description. This is not for my own personal career but to improve eAustralia as a whole.
Lastly, the cabinet discussion was originally opened for public, however it was later changed hours before the actual discussion. On behalf of the cabinet, I will apologise for that miscommunication. However, we have also opened up our question and discussion to the general public the moment our meeting has finished.
Unfortunately, your attacks on me as of now has not shown that you are a more capable leader then me, rather your attempt to discredit my effort for this game is a sign that you can do no better then drag other players down. At least you dont use much colorful language and child like behavior in public, you seem to have another side of you in private 🙂, keep up the good work.
@infin, I think there may be a slight possibility, by using big bonus, workers and careful management (whatever that may include). I personally feel that the current military budget is perhaps too big for a small nation like ours. Maybe it will be a lot better once we get some states back but all this is more based upon speculation as of now.
unfortunately, good point about EDEN...reducing MPPs is wrong way
Good job srg. SRG4CP!
i dont understand why anyone bothers playing this game anymore.
either cheating or spending RL money is the only way to do anything
no matter what you do it comes down to that.
I do neither yet continue to progress.
Cheaters will fail eventually and those who spend RL currency are only moving forward at a quicker pace. There is still the possibility of advancement.
progress on a global scale? no you dont
you may personally feel like you are making progress but you arent, your progress is very much tied to your countries progress.
Australia in erepublik will never progress, we dont have a population in RL who would play this game, money has proven useless and no matter how much we progress we will never be able to beat Indonesia because of the 5k bots that the admins refuse to destroy because it makes Australians buy gold.
thats why this game is a massive waste of time. the admins purposefully do alot of things designed to make sure gold buying doesnt actually change the global situation but makes the player feel like they are so they continue to do so.
You want TJ to put up policies, he can't, he doesn't have any except try to bag everybody else that does.
Even stoops to the level of making false accusations about me looking through the eausrep database specifically to find threads in the ANP forms. For the life of me I can't understand why I, or anybody for that matter would think that anything he or the ANP could possibly say there that would be important enough to warrant going to all the hassle to sift through a total of 176980 posts in the Database just to find posts by TJ in the ANP forums. Seriously, he and the ANP members that believe him must be seriously deluded.
It is very hard to formulate sensible well thought out policies.
And every policy thought out will have weaknesses.
That's why bagging other peoples policies is a growth industry.
Of course, one can overthink things to - talking to indos to 3:00am serves no point
unless of course Australia can offer somthing - so what could Australia possibly offer that the indos don't already have?
Which then can be shifted if I go to a successful country.
Tim you must realise that the nature of the citizenship module allows for a change to another country. I have done so 4 times for 4 different countries since my ebirth.
