Join the new world

Spud of Doom is running for congress again! This month I am running in Wellington for the PnPP.

As a congress member from the December elections and an officer in NZDF unit 3 I have been working closely with several

other government members (mostly Crusadercarl and kurojca) with regards to the recent land swaps with Australia. I feel like relations within NZ surrounding the government are improving nicely, with more articles being published in the media by the government - notably Kurojca's swap anouncement, Koska de STRAH's economy reports and MOD battle orders.

As a hopeful elected representative for a second term, I plan to continue building on what progress has been made.

Currently I support eNZ maintaining 2 MPPs with overseas countries for training war purposes, and have also been considering the possibility of requesting some kind of rent payment from Australia, given the terms of the swap (they got a whole raw industry with +25%, we got +5% to food.) but I think it's fair to wait until their economy has developed a little more first.

I am also interested in talking more about alliances with local countries (Australia and Indonesia particularly) and what options we have diplomatically.

As a RL New Zealander who will be returning to university studies next month, I should be able to help out a little with recruitment of new players. So far I have had a few friends who started playing but got bored, so I'll try to get some of them playing again as well. I am also considering trying to get a small article printed in our student magazine in the next few months.

So this is my short campaign platform saying to vote for me in Wellington on election day.
