Special Report | FPM, Bank of Philippines. Who are these people?
Rageldo Dimagiba
In behalf of the Filipino people, I would like to welcome the members and delegates of the http://www.erepublik.com/en/party/-filipino-progressive-movement-2368/1”>Filipino Progressive Movement Party (FPM) to our shores. Mabuhay!
In their article, entitled “http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/a-new-era-beckons-759447/1/20”>A New Era Beckons”, the http://www.erepublik.com/en/organization/1339117”>Bank of Philippines/FPM party, a group of self-proclaimed “experienced members of the Erepublik world”, declared their intentions of providing economic aid to the country, helping build medical and defense facilities, and participating in partisan politics.
The article has generated quite a response and has elicited mixed feelings among the general population.
While Filipinos are known the world over for being a hospitable people, and while the foreigners at FPM themselves appear sincere, the Filipinos are understandably wary of their intentions.
Just 12 days ago, a Philippine Congress with a foreign majority passed a bill to transfer all the GOLD in the national treasury to http://www.erepublik.com/en/citizen/profile/271361”>Bunaly’s organization, http://www.erepublik.com/en/organization/1332464”>Bangko ng Pilipinas, an organization whose name is strikingly similar to FPM’s partner organization, Bank of Philippines. In fact it is just a word-for-word translation of the former!
Moreover, if my memory serves me right, just days ago, the logos used by both the Bangko ng Pilipinas and the Bank of Philippines were the same! They both used the logo of their purported real-life counterpart, the http://www.bsp.gov.ph/”>Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.
If I didn’t know any better, I’d think the two organizations were somehow linked to each other, and not, as I hope, that FPM just has some serious PR issues. But I digress.
The Filipinos are now, more than ever, filled with questions.
Questions such as: Who are these people? Where did they come from? What are they doing here? Why do they want to help us? What are their motives?
In this special in-depth report of THE DAILY COCONUT, we will try to answer these questions and more.
(to be continued in the NEXT ISSUE...)

Well, from what I can tell, the leader of the FPM's name is Big Boy Bulley, the Vice President of the eUK.
This just in.
Bank of the Philippines said it has "absolutely no connection with Bangko ng Pilipinas".
Yep Paralda is correct, although he no longer holds that position. We hold no ties whatsoever with Bangko ng Pilipinas, and wefrown upon the actions taken.
It is due to the plight we could see this country was having that we chose Philippines of all countries to relocate and help.
We can understand your wariness, buthope that over the comming weeks and months you come to trust us as we look to build this into a great nation.
Those who made donations to Bank of Philippines are mostly British and some Americans. FPM party members are also a mixture of British and Americans.
Thanks Ariel, as i said wehave nothing to hide.
Transparency is what we're attempting to achieve.
We've nothing to hide and therefore you will be briefed fully on our plans and once we're implimenting them we'll stay transparent and ensure that any questions you have will be answered.
We completely frown upon stealing money from new countries. Its unfair and doesn't give these countries a chance therefore we ARE here to help.
Whether you believe us or not is your decision and you have a right to be wary but know that we will prove our good intentions to you in future.
>>We completely frown upon stealing money from new countries.
Aside from this, whats left to steal? 4 gold, big whoop.
Between us we've a ton of experience at running things, we're not just the usual bunch of random yahoos after a quick buck.
As you can see by the "Bank of Philippines" account, we have been building up funds in order to help the nation when it should need money.
We understand that trust is earned, and we hope to do that for you. After being used for your money recently, it is quite understandable to question us.
If anyone has any questions, please feel free to send them to Big Boy Bulley or I (BBB and DT respectively, as we are known). We'll be more than happy to answer them.
So I guess they are clear of suspicion then......
Now, Welcome to our humble country, comrades of the world.....
Mabuhay!!!!
You would not steal our money of course. With your tons of reserves, I believe that. But, there is something mysterious about you guys. There must be a hidden agenda behind you people. Are you planning to control our country? You know fellas, we are bordered by Indonesia. Americans hates Indonesians and Indonesians hates Americans. Probably, US Imperialistic citizens would use Philippines in extending their territory in Asia and to conquer Indonesia.
These are just thoughts. I hope I am wrong. I just hope that you people are PURE.
seconded the comment of Prince Terence I
Let us allow the democratic process to prove the mettle of both FPM and PFF. 😁
Prince Terence,
We all realize the positioning of the Philippines in the world. I'm sure that after these congress elections, everyone will sit down and we will discuss what should be done regarding protection of these lands.
Most of us aren't Americans, we're British. The Indonesians won't be bothered I don't think. I dislike Americas actions and I'm still involved in this movement, which says that it probably isn't true.
Just so you also know, Big Boy Bulley is no longer the Deputy Prime Minister of the UK, that is Hassan Pesaran. (The office of President also doesn't exist under British laws, but what can you do, we'll have to wait for other governmental systems before finally removing 'President'.)
Until yesterday, I was British Member of Parliament and a well respected member of Britain, and I hope to join the Filipino Congress and help you all.
Although I am concerned about the motives of people coming into our country and immediately trying to take over, the unfortunate fact is there's nothing that can be done to stop them.
That aside my question really is, assuming their intentions are good, what are their plans to build up the economy and the political base in our country and if they achieve this will they then leave so we can govern our own country?
I doubt it has been planned as far as leaving, but we have ideas for building the economy back up
which are?
Hi Bill,
I'm currently Party President of the FPM. Currently, we're trying to build up the funds that were stolen from you not long ago. We have nearly 500 GOLD in funding, so hopefully that will go a long way.
We will probably create some governmental companies, as there are several sectors that are clearly lacking (Construction for instance).
At the same time, we will most likely use a lot of the wealth to invest in foreign monetary markets (a tool that is useful for gaining more funds). We have done it in the past, and if done correctly can gain a good profit.
Any more questions, feel free to ask me.
I thinks you've answered some of the questions, guys.
We have nothing to hide, we are simply here to help, and i realize and understand it may be hard for you to trust us, as I said, thats totally understandable. But we totally oppose imperialism and are for sure not in it to rape you of your cash.
Thank you, however you may want to look at the party pages, check out who is running. Everyone running will get in, as there aren't enough places
