Join the new world

This is not going to be my regular sort of article. I usually wait to write something until I am super grumpy about whatever it is I want to rant about. I then sit down and ramble for a while about whatever is eating at me. I throw in a few pictures of hot chicks, people on fire, soup and whatever random things fit into the story. This is different. This is serious and I will try to keep it that way.

Let me start by saying I am new here. My “born on date” says June 19, 2010 but that really isn’t accurate. I wish I had been two clicking since then, I would be a monster on the battlefield. In reality I started actively playing just a few months ago. I didn’t live through the wipe of the eUS, or lots of the political shenanigans of the past. I sometimes have a hard time keeping up with who has done what, how and when. What I do know is that most of my time here has been spent complaining about the government and screaming for change. I have been looking for those in charge to be more inclusive of those that don’t run in the upper echelons and listen to those of us scraping along at the bottom. I have been complaining that no one really cares about anyone except the elite in this country. I have been hoping that someone would come along and be different.

I found that man. I finally found the guy that wants to unite us as a country and listen to everyone. The person that can bring all us together both old and new. That fellow eUS citizen is John Largo.

Imagine my surprise when I got a message a couple weeks ago from Mr. Largo asking me if I was interested in being a staff writer for him. At first I didn’t know what to say. Who was I to hang out with the bigwigs and have a little input into how this great country of ours gets run? I was a leftist crazy crackpot, just hanging on the fringe and having a good time doing it. I am still a leftist, wannabe alternative elitist, and on my own time I will continue to rant and rave about whatever I think needs ranting about. I am a freedom fighter and effort whenever I can to aid those oppressed by the tyranny of nations. I wasn’t asked to change who I am and I won’t.

When I responded to Mr. Largo’s request I told him that I wasn’t sure I was even going to vote for him. I hadn’t made up my mind at that point. That didn’t matter to him. He wanted little ‘ole me to do some writing for him when he won the election anyway. He wanted me to work for him even if I voted for someone else! That’s pretty cool. That is a guy that doesn’t just load up his staff with “yes” men and people that want nothing more than to pad their own political resume. He has assembled a cabinet that is second to none and is poised to lead this country into a brilliant future. I for one am excited to be a very small part of a very big plan.

This us usually where I add a tasteful yet sexy picture of some hot young thing and pander for a few extra votes for my article. I won’t do that today, but instead ask you to vote for John Largo tomorrow and let him lead this country in a different, better direction. Thanks!
