SOS Writing Marathon: 10/1 Entries and Winner

Day 687, 20:51 Published in Japan Japan by SOS Brigade

I sincerely apologize for the delay, after the apocalypse I had a hard time struggling to survive, let alone announce the winner. However I have set up a nice bunker here now, and I've managed to connect to the internet via satellite! Now it is time to make the announcement!

Due to the apocalyptic events, two of three judges were not able to make a review, so there will be only one judge's decision on the following by Athasnim and Walorm:

Athasnim: Its's the End of the eWorld as We Know It!
Walorm: Apocalypse!!!

Judge: Walorm: While the story itself is regrettably short, the idea is fairly creative. Rather than showing what would happen in game amongst the players the idea of the game being just a game with the same vulnerabilities as anything online was interesting. While I wish the story was longer, there was a clear beginning middle and end. Furthermore all the aspects of the contest were met.

Athasnim: The cookie idea to do a parody of eRep to "The end of the world as we know it" was fairly creative. However the song itself is a song, and the request was for stories. I must say I did enjoy the parody and I admire the time and effort that must have gone into it.

For the final day my vote goes to Walorm.

Congratulations Walorm! You will receive your reward soon!

That finally concludes the SOS Writing Marathon. I again apologize for the delays you have experienced. Congratulations to all winners, your successes were all deserved! Great writing from everyone, even those who were not able to win.

I hope you all had fun with this event, and we hope to see you in future SOS Brigade events!
