Join the new world

With the election tomorrow we in the SOS Brigade felt that we should share a bit about why we are supporting Lauri Mursu, and why we think you should give him your vote tomorrow.



Active

As many of you are probably sick of hearing, the SOS Brigade is big on being active and general activity. Lauri Mursu can often be found on IRC and wandering around the Nippon Forums at any hour of the day. He is not only always available but he is always willing to talk. Don't let his sleeping sign fool you, he will sometimes sleep walk just to get back to someone who needs to talk to him. Otherwise he takes a message and will get back to you when he gets up again in the morning.

Mursu has been active in eJapan since he came here about five-six months ago. His first month here, he was in congress, and has been active in the community and government ever since.

Knowledgeable about the eWorld

Lauri Mursu is also active not only in eJapan but around the world. As our current Foreign Minister under Oraizan, and our Foreign Minister since Minamoto, Mursu has been working with our allies and the world with the current changing affairs. As we enter this changing world with a rising MPP cost we will need to become more careful with our alliances. Mursu has been active in PEACE, our current major alliance since becoming Foreign Minister and is very familiar with them, an asset we will need in determining our continued presence with the Alliance.

With the focus of Japan being very global in the coming month the SOS Brigade feels that Mursu will be the best president to lead us on the international stage.

Flexible Wisdom

In eJapan we have had some very heated discussions in congress and amongst citizens. Further, sometimes our divides can be as strong as our ties together as fellow eJapanese. It is no secret that trying to manage a polarized government such as ours is not an easy task, and a good president knows that being fair and not favoring one side over the other, but rather favoring unity, and what is right, is best.

Larui Mursu is such a candidate. Anyone who has talked to Mursu pertaining something important knows that he instantly calms down any extreme ideas or theories and instantly rationalizes on what is best to do, even if what is best is to gather more information. Further Mursu isn't one to stubbornly stick with one view and ride it out. He can be very flexible, and is open to new ideas so long as they are argued well.

During these changing and turbulent times, the SOS Brigade feels that such a wise, rational, and flexible leader like Mursu would be an ideal president.

The Type of People Behind him

All it takes is a glance at the list of those parties supporting Mursu to get an idea of who he appeals to as a president. Both the NAP and newly active TFC parties have been in Japan for a while. Their history is strong in this country, and despite their political differences both still stand behind Mursu. Further, the two parties the SOS Brigade feels to be the most active and outgoing in the country, the SOS Brigade itself, and our happy fun rivals in the Tequila Fitness Club (TFC), are both behind Mursu.



We in the SOS Brigade hope that when you approach the polls tomorrow that you take into consideration why we are supporting Lauri Mursu for president of eJapan and we hope that you decide to join us in giving him your vote.
