Join the new world

Just as a quick recap, Mexico just took two of the three regions we attacked to try and finish them off, while Portugal is attacking another region, which would give them an opportunity to march through central america right up to us, that is if they win. So below are some thoughts about the worst case scenario of our homeland being attacked.

From what I can tell, we're in bad shape. Right now the weapons market is through the roof (I believe Q1s reached $30 last night) so a majority of our "noob wall" fighting is greatly decreased because they are forced to fight bare handed thus reducing their damage significantly. This is also not helpful for the army because the politicians are still fiddling around about the army owned weapon companies until recently, so I don't think they will come into effect any time soon, leaving the military to have to buy them at these high prices. This lack of damage is further supplemented by the marines and the tanks being off in Romania trying to save them from Indonesia.

PEACE has also decided to come on full-forceish, and two battering rams (Mexico and their MPPs and Portugal and their MPPs) are now directed up the mexican peninsula at the USA. Proposals for peace will most likely be denied so we can count that out too. We could actually try to stop them in a full on fight, but I don't think that will work without some help from ATLANTIS, which I fear isn't coming because of recent events and the fact that its hands are tied in Romania. We could try to stop them by starting resistance wars (and losing them) at choke points thus stopping the Portuguese battering ram, and leaving the much more beatable Mexican one. And that would also count the Italian MPP out if we stop the attack.

Assuming that the above doesn't work, we could face the chance of being attack on our southern border. This I'm not too positive about, because of the reasons stated in paragraph one and some others. If attacked on our southern border, our MPPs would activate. However looking at our current MPPs, none of them seem like they would offer too much help. Romania and Spain are both in the middle of a war, India is gone, Israel is small, our only reliable options are in Sweden and Canada, but then again both of them probably have their hands tied in Romania. Canada even more so because they have taken this World War IIB or III opportunity to attack France. And to further that, I'm not sure why Atlantis would want to help us with they way we've been acting.

But you know what... this just proves a point. We need Atlantis. End of story, I'm sure we could negotiate some sort of way out of the fine (or to at least lessen) and issue an apology and then we would be on the road to alliance recovery. For certain this would add a few more MPPs to our cause such as the currently absent United Kingdoms one. And along with that Atlantis would probably send some forces to help us out considering we are supposed to be allies. So USA its time to tighten our belt, start acting in a decent manner and start worrying about more than just ourselves. Cause if we don't we will probably have to knock a few stars off that flag of ours.
