Some ideas for Erepublik:

A. NEW BUILDINGS:
1) A new type of business: Repair Tools
In real life, buildings need repairs so why shouldn't we have this here to make the game more interesting ? Houses, Hospitals & Defense Systems (+ any other future buildings) will have their own "wellness"... or better said their own durability. For exemple, a house can have 100 durability points and every day will loose 1 point. To repair it, you will need repair tools. They will work like this:
Q1: +1 durability point
Q2: +2 durability points
Q3: +3 durability points
Q4: +4 durability points
Q5: +5 durability points
If you don't repair it, when it reaches 0 durability, you will loose the house. This new business can use as raw materials iron or wood... or maybe even a new type of resource so then there will be 1 more type of business.
2) Airport
I don't know if it takes times to travel from a region to another or it's just instant traveling (because I never traveled in Erepublik since I play it) but I know it should take some time... teleporting it's just... well, we are not playing Star Trek here.
What's the airport for ? The airport will be like hospital and defense system - every region will need one. It will help to reduce traveling time like this:
Let's say you want to travel from region X to region Y. Traveling between these regions takes 24 hours. If there is an airport in the region from which you are starting the trip (region 😵
, then it will give you a speed bonus:
Airport Q1: +15% speed bonus (so traveling will take 20 hours and 24 minutes)
Airport Q2: +30% speed bonus (so traveling will take 16 hours and 48 minutes)
Airport Q3: +45% speed bonus (so traveling will take 13 hours and 12 minutes)
Airport Q4: +60% speed bonus (so traveling will take 09 hours and 36 minutes)
Airport Q5: +75% speed bonus (so traveling will take 06 hours and 00 minutes)
(The time needed for travel is just for exemple)
If the region X doesn't have an airport but region Y does, you will not get any speed bonus. You will get the bonus when you will travel from region Y to region X.
3) Power Plant
Again, this building will be like Hospital, Defense System and Airport - every region will need one. This will be the most important building for economy and will make the difference between developed countries and developing countries. Why? Because it will give a productivity bonus for all the companies in it's region like this (% are just for exemple):
Power Plant Q1: +20% productivity
Power Plant Q2: +40% productivity
Power Plant Q3: +60% productivity
Power Plant Q4: +80% productivity
Power Plant Q5: +100% productivity
In my exemple, you can see it's importance. In a region with no power plant, the companies will have no productivity bonus. In a region with Q5 Power Plant, the production will be twice as much as in the region without power plant!
Curently you don't have too many options to develop your country so the airport and the power plant will change that a bit.
B. NEW GAME OPTIONS:
1) Article categories:
I must say from begining that this is not my idea. I've readed about it somewhere, in another article (but I don't remember who came with the idea).
There are lots and lots of articles every day. More and more ppl join Erepublik so the number of articles are also increasing. When you write an article, you should be able to choose a category for it, before you publish it. The categories can be like this:
Military
Economy
Political
GOV (for official government articles)
etc...
This will help ppl to read only what they want... so when you want to read the newest articles, first you will choose which category of articles you want to read. If you want, you can choose to read all categories.
2) Stock Exchange:
I don't think I must say much about this. We have an economy, we have companies... we should have a stock market too so citizens and companies can buy and/or sell shares. Also this way we can be able to see for real which companies are the best and we will have some real corporations.
Hope you agree with my ideas.

si pentru regiunile de coasta ar fi bun port. fara el sa nu se poata ataca din acea regiune un teritoriu de coasta din acea mare/ocean cu care atacatorul nu se invecineaza terestru. si trebuie sa fie insotita de o regandire a posibilitatilor de ataca pe mare.
de exemplu e aiurea ca peste marea neagra sa nu se poata ataca.
1. cine ar da 40g pe o casa q5.. k mai apoi sa mai dea bani si pe reparatie..... deci aia cu durabilitatea... nu imi place
2. aeroportul - cine ar mai face tikete q1? s-ar intimpla ce se intimpla acum.... numai k in loc de q1 se vor face doar q5...
3. in plus ar fi greu sa aduci oameni la lupta cind stii k jumate de zi ...sau poate 2 zile esti in AER....
4. POWER PLANT e chiar o idee buna... in felul asta si tarile cu resurse medium ar avea sanse la o productivitate mai mare
1. durabilitatea la case: mai bine sa fie exprimata in zile. exemplu: durabilitate maxima 10. dupa 10 zile pierzi 1 punct, dupa 20 inca 1 punct si tot asa din 10 in 10 zile. cand ajungi la 0 sa nu mai primiesti wellnes pt casa. Si asa poti sa o repari cand vrei cu o noua resursa "caramida" .
2. aeroportul: durata maxima sa fie de 100 de minute nu 24 de ore. exemplu: pleci din regiunea x fara aeroport faci 100 minute pana in regiunea y. daca ai aeroport q1 faci 80 min , q2 60 min., q3 40 min, q4 20 min si la q5 faci ca si acum transfer imediat.
3. Power Plant e excelent asa cum ai gandit, poate doar ca nu as dubla productia ci maxim 50% ca ar fi prea mult pt zonele cu regiuni high.
as folosi wood pt aeroport si as introduce "caramida" pt reparat case si constructia de power plant.
dar cred ca toate astea ar trebui puse pe forum in engleza.

ideile sunt foarte interesante ... trebuie supuse unor dezbateri, rafinate putin si apoi aplicate in joc. Cred ca e loc de mai multa dinamica in joc
Cifrele sunt doar pentru exemplu... bineinteles ca daca vor fii adaugate in joc, cei care se ocupa de asta vor calcula cum e mai bine.
I agree with the Power Plant and repair tools, the stats should be lower on the P.P. though, the rest of the ideas I don't like as much.
spitalul unei regiuni ar trebui sa se uzeze in functie de cate punctele de wellness acordate , sa zicem ca un nivel ar insemna 1.000.000 puncte wellness
astfel daca statul nu repara spitalul sa scada cate un nivel pana la nivel 0
ceva asemanator si la sistemul defensiv
treaba cu spitalul e buna pt a vedeara costurile reale pe care le implica lupta intr-o alianta ( nu doar arme consumate ci si punctele de sanatate ale combatantilor )

Power Plant and Repair is good the rest already exists or is in my opinion not good but you get a vote.
I was thinnkig at something similar..... it's really a good idea....it will give the game more options.
Voted good ideas - except the stock market which is BS in the real world- whoever came up with an idea of the stock market should be shot and castrated!!
Stock market is noo different than poker disguised as an amazing venture.

There is a decent overproduction in the game, PowerPlant would be reasonable, if the raw material cost of the manufactured products would be raised.

I have read the idea, but when i buy a house abaut 500HUF and when durability is zero the hoese is mine. Not luse just the wellnes is so when havnt got house. Thats my idea. I wont lose my house just these Durability idea. I would say when this idea so came to game to luse house an industrie than i stop game with them.
Repair concept ok
For the power, i think we should use ressources to fuel them (coal uranium etc...) But they will be limited in some few area of the e-world to create a competition between the buyers and if a country cannot fuel at 100% his powerplants, the bonus will go down (ie: for a q5 powerplant, if the country cannot fully supply it, says only at 70%, so the bonus too go down at 70% and not at 100😵
Theses ressources will become a prime target to acquire in e-republik and will create a lot of political and economical conflicts, and these lasts are good for enjoyment. 🙂
I was thinking about fuel resource for power plant too... but that will make things harder I think.

Power plants excellent idea, stock market is also a good idea but why just leave it at companies, we could also invest in open markets, oil, wood, iron ect.

The idea with the house repair is awfull, if it would be implemented, i would sell my house right away.
The airport and power plant are also very bad ideas, not thought through.
I kind of agree with the game options, but i'm very disappointed with your idea about the "new buildings".

Stock market ( for shares, iron, oil etc) would be excelent.
This would make the game much more dynamic.
Powerplant would also be good, so that the countries can at least get a chance into equality of resources.

constructions have great durability @ 100 years and so..
they only brake if you drop a bomb on it
a power plant would increase production the same for a High region,
so ... it wont change a lot after some time.
and states with no high region will get back from where they left.
the airport is realistic... unless those guys from CERN move faster 😃
Ideea cu Power Plant mi se pare cea mai bună şi cel mai uşor de pus în aplicare. În plus ar relansa domeniul Constructions care deocamdată are doar 3 industrii incluse.
Nu`mi place ideea ar complica viata in joc, parerea mea.
