Some Food for Thought

Day 792, 22:10 Published in USA USA by Desparye
Admin bias.

Lately, a certain alliance has been complaining that the admins favored one over the other. I mean, most of their top tanks have been banned for multi accounting and illegal transactions. Of course, admins are biased- against cheating.

Any of you remember a certain dynamic duo? Both were, at one point, presidents of the US. Both, at that time, were both pretty important players for the US' military. Where are they today? Well, they share the same fate as Turkey's beloved BattalGazi and poker. Look at their reasonings for being banned. Except for poker, the reasonings were the same: multi-accounting. No matter where you are from, no matter what language you speak, cheating is cheating.

Some more food for thought, remember when the US was being attacked at all angles? I remember how Russia was pretty close to the choke point of New Jersey, which was a doorway to the northeast US. SURPRISE, the admins changed the maps, and basically made New Jersey strategically worthless (you'll always be my home, NJ <3). Yes, Americans were screaming admin bias at that point as well.

As for more recent events, Turkey has been IP banned due to a DDOS attack originating in Turkey (not accusing anyone for any reason, as it's not verified and I really like my 0 FP points). Instead of, you know, condemning the people who ATTACKED the admins, they chose to condemn the admins for blocking them. Sure, it sucks. I'd be pretty annoyed, too. But honestly, I wouldn't blame the admins for doing such a thing.

In my opinion, nations like Turkey, who have lost high leveled players because of cheating, should condemn cheating instead of condemning the admins and accusing them of bias. Turkey is not alone in these accusations, the United States is also guilty of screaming bias. As we have seen, eRepublik is a cyclic game: at one point, PEACE nearly ruled the world, today, EDEN nations are rising up in rank. Do not blame the admins for your mistakes, condemn the cheaters and make the game fair for all of us! A challenge is much more fun, anyway.
