Its MrConwayTwitty thank you
sorry. Fixed it and i'll go fix it in the forum.
interesting idea
I will always gladly pay a bit more to buy from an eIrishman. I always have, and always will.
This is a good program. Voted.
Voted.
at last, I've been looking for you guys
tbh, I don't see why we have to have a list of people to buy goods for.
Just click on the persons name before you buy if you're not sure who they are. If they have Irish citizenship then buy 🙂
Just keep in mind the British Pto'rs 😛

To create a list of "approved" sellers, implies that other eIrishmen are not worthy of our business. Just spread the message of "BUY IRISH" and forget the list. A list will unnecessarily alienate patriotic citizens not on the list. We want to promote solidarity, not create schisms.
The idea of the solidarity union isn't entirely to create a list of approved buyers. Much of what the organization is evolving into is a system of profitable relationships between primary products, final products, and mass buyers. The idea is to control certain markets to the advantage of all Irish business owners and customers.
That being said, what you guys are mentioning is a drawback.
I think this is fine and has nothing to do with saying "others aren't worthy". I am sure they can join the trade union if they like.
Voted.

Some players (like me) do not want to sign up for a bajillion sub-forums.
We want to play eRep and keep it simple. I'll never be allowed in many groups because everyone wants me to sign up for yet another forum in order to join them. I want to come to the eRep site and play the game. I don't want to have to manage a dozen other websites and forums for each group. I just want to enjoy my time here. I will continue to work hard for eIreland and the eIrish people within the eRepublik game. I'm not sure why that is not enough for some people.
@Bhane. I don't personally feel that the union is putting others at a disadvantage for not being in the union (that being said I'm a member so I'm obviously biased). Especially since the economic module shows names instead of company names now. In practice customers will either buy whatever is cheapest, or will make an effort to buy irish (regardless on union membership). The only thing this union is really successful at is forming business partnerships. I think we should all be free to take part in that, whether we choose to or not is a personal choice.

Plato is working on adding the gold paid for licenses to country`s treasury. Also he plans to introduce some sort of trade agreements.
Plus international trade is an easy way of making money and building good relationships with other countries. Making friends abroad will always remain the best survival chance for small communities like eIreland. I`m not even mentioning the fun.
Protectionism reduces flow of gold and excludes production bonuses from irish market. You not having most of resources doesn`t mean you shouldn`t benefit from it.
Nationalism on the other hand will transform eIreland into closed society with no true allies. It will fill everyday live with boredom and drive openminded people away.
Best wishes. Russian embassy
I see a few proposals to increase import taxes. I assume it is part of this movement. I would have liked to see a large decrease of income taxes to coincide with the increased import tax.
so far we haven't suggested any law proposals to the goverment.
Ya what adriano said. These changes have nothing to do with us. Everything to do with foreign goods coming on strong though.
