How much gold does eRepublic weight?


In the last 2 days there are a lot of troubles implementing the new economy module. Its never boring, always a new bug comes out! 🙂 Well I hope it will settle in few days.

The largest backfire of the new EM is that now everyone have only medium raw material regions This can be interpreted by two ways : 1) Now everyone produce equal and 2) Now there is no point to fight for high regions because there are no any... Oh yes, there is a +25% of raw material if the nation posses at least one Grain resource region. Lucky us NZ 🙂

I read a lot of articles around the World that there will be 7 NEW resources... No... It will be only 3 raw material resources : Grain, Iron, Oil.From the thread on the forum written by Admins, I'm not sure about the future of Oil. Plus as I noticed the Titanium resource is still available even there is no such "rich" region in this new module. The other resources are only for +5% booster including the three mentioned ones as well. There will be no cowboys, ranchers and fishermans... No, You won't be able to kill Your enemies and wife's during deer hunting and say "I thought there was a deer in the bushes" 🙂

But we should not despair. The grain is more and more wanted in eWorld. Not everyone has it, but we do have it 🙂 Some of the largest countries by population have none of high Grain region. Soon that will be the most wanted regions. So we might get some export opportunity. And we have 2 high Iron regions. So the weapons will be cheaper than from the imported raw materials. Yet I think we should not run into iron extraction in these first day of the new EM. Should wait a little to see how will this changes effect the eWorld market.

A few things for discussion : Have You noticed the Grain regions on world and how this affects on the alliances? And how will this decrease of values of regions and countries Russia's regions were among most wanted regions of the world. Now they have lost almost every meaning on the economy stage. However the French got a lot of resource types and plenty of all. They will be wanted and probably among first EDEN attacks. EDEN as an alliance got a lot of the Grain regions, almost 70% (not included USA honoring their "we not part of EDEN" propaganda) but they lack of Iron and their boosters. Poland, Romania and Croatia have almost all food regions but none of regions for weapon. The PHX got a slap in the face because most of the Grain regions got took from them. But now they have many Iron regions, so perhaps there will be some weapons oriented strong companies. Ukraine got deleted, and this was a lucky Hungarian triumph. Serbia immediately attacked a Grain region of Romania. So EDEN will have to watch their regions from enemies. Bulgaria was whining of not having grain regions, and now they have two of them 😃 Maybe this will be an interesting new era, but really people can't expect to much of admins...

Maybe NZ should discuss with Australia about regions exchange : Otago for Tasmania?
