So.. Silence is bad. - An article for an articles sake.

First off, 'Grats to Benn Dover on the presidency.
Also, I have Claimed the Title of Minister of Mayhem under the rules of the Department of Fun.
Dunno what I'm going to do yet, But I might work with The Department of Grammatical Korrekshun, err... Correction, to bring back my Program of
"If this actually becomes true Then how will we know the better sign?"
Basically I archive the works of the nations media and show it back to you for the lulz.
I tried to do this in the glory days (read "Beta"), but It was a lot of work for just me to do.
The resistance war.
Okay so i was gone yesterday to PIR to see the NASCAR truck race.
And it was epic.
Poor Johnny Benson.
But there was a war when I was gone.
Thursday I told my Platoon to prepare for the war, and they did. And I was supposed to deploy them yesterday. But I was gone yesterday, leaving a gap in the command chain and confusion amongst the soldiers
Thankfully William Shafer, the actual commanding officer ordered the deployment. Causing more confusion amongst the soldiers.
So I'm working on getting everybody on the same page, waking up to 23 new PMs is not fun.
Five minutes a day is pure BS
Okay, so there;s no way I can do anything on erep in five minutes.
My day is this;
School: I have webmaster first hour and I try to work and train, and I normally do, depending on if my tor proxy actually works.(Stupid firewalls) So it takes me all class period just to do that.
Then I get home, and check my PMs. Depending on if I have to work on the military, this takes about 15-20 minutes, because of the stuff I have to look up.
Then I check the Forum. (and if you havent done so already, sign up on the forum here And that takes up about another 15 minutes.
Then about a couple of hours of constant checking my PMs for replies to my replies.
Same with the forums.
And at the same time time, I'm also on IRC, the national chatroom. Info found here
And then repeat.
And heaven forbid I miss a day.
Admins do not know the meaning of subtle
So, as you might have noticed, the admins decided to cut the production of Raw Mats down.
This is a good thing for General manages who can actually make a profit on them, but also bad because now they're paying way over the salary for the workers productivity.
that and the fact that now there's going to be a giant price change in the materials that will show them selves in finished goods.
I'm in the process of freezing my oil Company, because Moving tickets are really doing nothing, and the fact that I don't want to be in the middle of the crap storm that will be going on in the next few weeks.
So all in all, fun stuff.
Comments
Can I bitch up the command chain here? 🙂 3rd Platoon is running low on both health and weapons. The Quartermaster office needs a kick in the nuts to get their act together and establish some supply routes in Java.
/rant off
Yeah, it's a lot of work for just one person.
I believe that for future conflicts, requests for Supplies should go up our already in place command line. And requisitioned by the SL and SGM, that way the platoon leaders know what exactly what is going on.
First war under the new administration is a learning process I guess.
The current joke of a PM system doesn't help communication either. To forward the orders I have to copy/paste the same message to 11 people. I mean would it be THAT difficult to introduce a "CC" field so that you could PM multiple people at once?
