It's an article written by a woman, with humour, pointing out how attractive men's bodies are, in response to an article written by a man, doing something somewhat similar about women's breasts.

If you're disappointed because I'm a woman, & feel that it's inappropriate for a woman but ok for a man to do, then I accept your disappointment on a cultural level. This article is so tame in comparison to what you guys do though, that now I'm disappointed in you. 🙁 🙁

If you are an elderly woman and posting pictures of this sort on a social game, then it's normal to expect critique. If you are a young female, then you have no advantage over anybody else here to be judging people and calling them "adolescent". I'm sorry that I didn't find your article worthy of a serious comment. I hope you see the humour in the comments without thinking that the whole world is against women.

His article is masturbation material, and so is yours. You tried to add some humor to it, but it's not very good. You are handy with tools? Seriously? Don't get me wrong, if a guy wrote something like: "I am really handy with pussies, yes I am!" I'd tell him the same thing.

For the record, when I chose the images for this article, I tried to find ones that showed men in natural settings & barring that, ones that were artsy, because I really love art. I wanted to show off the male body without being tasteless & I wanted to keep it PG13. All of these pictures are promotional ads from major European & North American manufacturers of men's underwear & swim wear.

The question of the subjects' sexual orientation, never occurred to me & while I have no idea what the incidence of homosexuality is among male models, I suspect that it's not any greater than in the general population.

Given the daily exposure by men & women of all ages, to the amount of this type of advertisement on public display, in every location conceivable, in every major urban centre, while these images are sensual, I don't believe they would be classified as “masturbation material”.

Ludooki, I'm not a comedian, that's for sure, but humour can be tricky.

For example, you hit on a line in the article that I imagine more women caught than men, although I was pretty sure that some guys would get it too. The fact is, that not only am I good with tools, as many women are, but I have a tool box filled with all kinds & I have actually helped to mount & finish plaster board. It was just another small dig at the guys, ie. that women are more versatile than men give us credit for.

Personally, I don't know any women who use the word “tool/s” to mean anything else, except the tools found at the hardware store. Of course that could be a generational thing.

You don't need credit from men. If you want to be treated as equals start acting like ones (IMO women don't want to be treated like that, but that's a different story). Of course you are more versatile, studies have shown that women are better than men at creative tasks and men are better at repeating attention based tasks. That's why most women suck at driving. @ Ludooki, re: the internet & images, personally I believe one of the most disturbing by products of the internet, is the rampant & in many cases illegal use of the medium, by pornographers. The number of victims, often with tragic

consequences, who otherwise would never have been exploited in real life, is countless. Even as a collection of images, those in the article would be of little use to the promoters or to those who use internet porn.

I'm aware of the use of tool as a euphemism, just as children as young as 4 & 5 are, because you don't have to go very far out of your own front door to be “educated” in this sense. In the article, I made reference to “tool/s” twice. The first, singular, was the euphemism.

The second or segue, plural, was sincerely of the hardware variety as previously explained. However, in this section as with the others, the “tone” is deliberately set & is what provides the comedic effect & lends additional meaning, depending on your pov.

“You don't need credit from men.” In saying, “women are more versatile than men give us credit for,” I never meant to imply that women need credit from men, only that in general, men continue to underestimate women.
