So a Crazy Thing Happened Yesterday...

It appears that I won.

What I won was the Party Presidency of the Imperial Party of Canada (IPC). I will admit that it was somewhat unexpected. Especially since Bulldog was the pick of the party establishment, and actually campaigned for the job. Regardless, I managed to win, though it was not overwhelming. In fact, I was the choice of only 34.9% of the voters, and only 15.4% of my party membership. I understand that my victory is no ringing endorsement. Yet an endorsement it is, and thus I will take advantage of the opportunity afforded me. Between this and winning a Battle Hero medal today, fortune has seemed to favour me.

My first order of business is to announce my Cabinet. My VP will be Bulldog_2015. My Secretary General will be Ryanxc23. And my Councillor will be TheSocialistChicken. I have not decided on a spokesperson yet, which is a position I will look to fill soon. The positions above I intend practically speaking to function as a cabinet for me, a group of advisers to help me serve the party and carry out our goals. The people I have chosen have shown themselves dedicated to the party and and i feel that they will find success in their respective roles.

My goals as PP will be to grow the party and engage more people in its operations, especially newer player. I want anyone in the party or otherwise to feel free to message me or give me their thoughts. We will need to work together to meet the challenges ahead. Additionally, I would like to see the deal open communication with the other parties, and work together in facing our shared struggles as an occupied nation.

I intend to be active in the CP elections, with my inclination to run our own candidate, although I’m open to supporting a quality candidate from another party. As well, if we are able to have a congress I will prepare our party for that.

Lastly, I would like to thank all those that voted for me and made this possible. I hope I can of service to the party and to this country in general. May we be a free people yet again.
