What happens when your gold buyers become self suffienct and no longer need to buy gold to operate in eRep.
Q3 TRAINING
You have the companies and training and the strength to win enough BHs to train daily to not fall behind your peers.
Its crossed my mind that they have to force those that are happy grabbing daily BH's for training to spend more.
There will always be a ploy to drive them to buy more.

Well IMO you have screwed over the market enough that I'll dissolve my Q6 for the gold to upgrade my training. I Will never invest in another company you offer savings on because u kill the market.

I think enough of the gold addicts have stopped buying. How else to explain these successive offers? Clearly they're not pulling in enough without a ploy.
It's their own faults for creating a system where even if you were to start buying gold now you would never catch up with those who bought gold before.

Honestly said, they killed the market THE ECONOMY the monetary market.. Country Currencys are just a little drop of water now in the ocean of Economy / Gold !
I will be upgrading my training centers. It will just take a month to earn the gold through producing and selling on markets. Well it took a month to upgrade when goods sold for 25% more and gold was $450 cheaper. I guess it will take a month and a half this time...........

Q1 training center might be worth it, if you've got the gold right now (it'll pay for itself in 5 months, if eRep's still around, of course) but the others aren't worth it unless you're already so rich (or bought a lot of gold already) that you're gold training anyways.

I totally agree with you. I think that I will downgrade my food company, too. Because the prices are low (lol, import taxes are lower then VAT?? the other countries citizens came here and lowering the market ... at products made with lower paid wages in their countries ) and even if you sell a lot what can you do with currencies? it never changes in gold...because they killed the MM (currency -> gold) too.
It's all about buying gold now, nothing else more.
I'm am proud to say that I have never spent a cent on eRep.

If the admin evolve the game in a good and fun way I would understand it better if ppl "sponsored" the game with some IRL cash.
But as it has been the last 1½ year it is just retarded to give em any money at all, cause they wont listen to the players anyway.
Players are leaving this game in a rapid speed because of the way the game has taken!
People spend IRL money because they want there nation to win.
I think that the admins forgot that this is just another crappy navigator game

I'm calling it a day. I've only been playing for a few months, but the economic model over the last 3 weeks has gotten so out out kilter (gold has increased steadily while wages and products have fallen steadily) that I can't buy gold on the monetary market anymore. I have to wait to earn a medal or buy it with RL cash (which I will not do).
So goodby eRepublik. I've given my gold & cc away and that's that. I'm sure the admins don't care about one little player.

It's worse if you are a newer player, the economy keeps getting worse so it takes longer and longer to build or upgrade companies, meaning the gap between established players and newbies will always keep getting bigger unless newbies are willing to buy gold.

The greediness of Admin is remarkable.
IMO, they should make this game round based. There are 3/4 Factions for countries, the faction with the most land at the end of the round (say, half a year to a year) wins. Each player gets X gold for the next round. That way they could reset all the stats regularly. all the prices would have to be dropped of course - to accomodate for the short time frame of the round.
They could have an infinite server (i.e. this one) which doesn't get reset as well.

I know that the training facilities bs won't stop... there's no doubt going to be just as many Q's of TF's as there are companies... I'd even say that once Q5 TF's are out, they'll introduce Q7 weapons, and maybe even a nuke that costs 1200 gold or something completely stupid.. anything to make a buck
