This is madness
Mid yesterday afternoon what promised to be a relatively relaxing day, as far as election days go was turned on it’s head. Suddenly, coming as a complete surprise to everyone, on both sides of the super alliance fence, the USA attacked Wales, Brittany, the Azores and Mexico, in one fell swoop, activating pretty much every major PEACE’s countries MPPs against them, most likely leading to their eventual annihilation, again. Within minutes, everyone knew something was up.

Claims surfaced that Gaius Julius had been hacked by an unknown party, who had started the attacks on the PEACE nations mentioned above. Within 2 hours he had been temporarily banned; a necessary precaution, to prevent any further harm. A couple of hours after that, the admins closed the battles opened, and seemingly deleted the wars involved. A quick glance at the UK’s military page shows that there is no war between the UK and the USA anymore; when there had been such a war since our ill fated attack on Norway. I hope this war is returned; could well be fun in the future.

This whole situation was caused by an unknown party gaining access to Gaius Julius’ account, through a method that we can only speculate upon. The popular assumption amongst America and her allies is that this was an act carried out by PEACE GC; this, naturally, was not an act even known about to us beforehand, let alone condoned. Hacking is something that has affected both sides over the course of this game; and it has not always been fixed as fast as it has been in this case. At the end of the day this was an act undertaken by a lone individual; but some immature individuals are so stuck in the super alliance mindset that every bad thing is caused by the other side. I remember when eRep had classy trolls man, what happened?

Wait, there was an election?

OH GOD WHAT WHY DIDN’T ANYONE SAY? Alright, serious face back on. As you’re probably aware, unless you don’t look at adds, the media, and the latest events thingy, and probably your PMs, there was an election yesterday. Interesting stuff. The main competitors, as I stated before, were GLaDOS and Mr Woldy; long story short Mr Woldy won by a large margin, in an election that beat previous turnout numbers.

I wish the best to GLaDOS with his future; as planned he left for Germany on a plane this morning. A planned move; he wants to help the Germans with their country, a new up and coming nation which has potential to be a major player in a few months, with a bit of luck. I also wish to congratulate Mr Woldy; bet you’re glad it wasn’t a close run thing in the end; I know I managed to relax last elections when I lost by a reasonable margin. Makes things just more comfortable

So yeah. Things on the world stage have calmed down a bit. Countries are actually running out of wars to fight in of late; an experience many have not had in a very long time. Heck, if it weren’t for the unfortunate situation in the USA I wouldn’t have anything to write about; and then how am I meant to write articles that’ll get me to media mogul? So, please, someone, do something stupid; invade someone or something; I will send a high five in the post.
