Sirius - Freedom At Last

As a congressman and the Secretary of Interior, I have had the opportunity to watch everything unfold. I know exactly what has happened, and let me tell you, I am so so happy that we're no longer in Sirius. Our alliance had become an abusive relationship, we were walked all over and then expected to thank our oppressors for even being allowed to be stepped on. We were given two options, bend over or get out, and I'm sure as hell glad that we have a POTUS with enough backbone to know that the eUS is nobodies slave.

Lots of you haven't seen the extent to which Sirius has tried to take advantage of us, so I'm going to tell you all a fun story. Every single country in Sirius except for the eUS tried to NAP half of Asteria. In this NAP, some of our own regions were divided up and given to different countries in both Asteria and Sirius. We were never told until the moment the vote for the NAP came to the floor. This is only some of the ridiculous [stuff] our "friends" tried to pull. The leader of Sirius even lied to us about a country that would attack us in order to try and get us to get in a fight with another country. This wasn't the end. We were put through things like this pretty much every meeting, so yea, you have no idea how happy I am that we're now out of that god awful alliance.

Well, that's it, rant over. I'm not going to tell you what to think. If you still believe that we should be taking this constant abuse from people who call themselves our allies, then I won't stop you.
