SHIELD, Pardon Our Dust

While the eUS is taking some time to fulfill our agreements and avoid direct combat with those we have a NAP with, we are taking this time to organize ourselves. So some stuff to look forward to.



Organizing Regiments -

We are going to start sorting Divisions into different regiments. This will give us an idea of the firepower we have for each division and if needed, can direct one division to where they might be more needed. As we organize it, expect a request to join shield. Click on it and it will move you to your new regiment.

As we organize our regiments we want to make each one its own family and stand out uniquely from the rest. Come join us on the forums as we discuss and vote on regiment names. We will be using regiments for
1st Regiment - New SHIELD soldiers as we get uniforms and organized
2nd Regiment - HAMMER/1st Division
3rd Regiment - 1st Division
4th Regiment - 2nd Division
5th Regiment - 3rd Division
6th Regiment - 4th Division
7th Regiment - Will be used for SWORD when we get a RC for it next term.

So come on down, discuss and suggest names. Once we have collected a few we will hold rounds of voting for one regiment at a time.

We are going to start moving to a form based supply request. Go to the link, fill it out, get your supplies.

Working out some fine details, we will do a few practice runs before making it available to the whole MU. We hope to have it complete in a week or two as we fine tune some details.



Ranks are coming to SHIELD. We have several SHIELD members who work hard to keep this MU running. We want to recognize them for that. We have several SHIELD members who work on educating and improving themselves, we want to recognize them for that. We have several SHIELD members who have been with us for a while, we want to recognize them for that. The best way we can do it is with ranks. Those who take time and effort to support us, we want others to know.

Two different types of ranks have been suggested for those given to enlisted members, come vote on the one you want to see SHIELD soldiers wear.

Because of the Pardon Our Dust there will be staff changes within SHIELD. Now is a prime time to get involved. We need QM's (always) but we also need media people, people to welcome and orient new soldiers, people to help us develop education materials, people to help recruit, etc... If you have some willingness and ideas, feel free to PM me and lets get you involved in staff.
