The opinion expressed in this article are of the writer, and do not represent any political party or the Canadian Armed Forces.

Other than politics and the Media, there isn't really much to do in eCanada. Well, you can spend your time here eating, working and training... but that isn't much fun, is it?

I know what you need. You need action, you need excitement, you need to see the eWorld! There is a noble profession that you can employ that offers all this and more. Take it from me, someone who enjoys the benefits of this, my first job... your boss is Canada, your job is to protect its interests.

Join the Canadian Armed Forces. Canada will benefit from your service!

Some people might say that the current government is not providing enough training wars. Well to those that are eager to stand within eyeshot of the enemy, and fight with all their might, you can wait for it to come to you, or you can go out looking for it!

Missions take you around the eWorld, and even here in Canada. Capable officers lead warriors-in-waiting, with the aim of bringing order to chaos. The world is fragmented, and many nations are ravaged by war. The men and women of the CAF are freedom fighters, giving country after country the chance to shape their destiny.

Agreed, you won't live the wealthy lifestyle. But when it comes to the punch, and your homeland lies vulnerable to the horde of enemies coming towards it, the citizens of eCanada will look to you as they run back, seeing you run forward, and they will be proud to have someone like you on their side.

The riches come from the feeling you get when looking over the rolling hills of Ontario - safe.

Your rewards come from standing in front of La Citadelle - safe.

Satisfaction will come from lying in the prairie fields of Manitoba and Saskatchewan, the hinterlands of the Yukon and Northwest Territories, the ranges of British Columbia, the arctic caps of Nunavut, the rocky shores of PEI and New Brunswick, feeling the wild winds of Nova Scotia through your hair...

All provinces. All of Canada. Protected. Safe, because of you.

How to join? Visit the eCanada Forums and register for training at this link. You can serve at your pleasur, for the good of our nation.

To those that have served in the past, and those who serve now, I salute you!
