Serve Australia

Day 1,715, 23:24 Published in Australia Australia by Australian Defence Force

The Australian Defence Force is looking for recruits. All Australian citizens are welcome, whether you're and enthusiastic new fella or a jaded old hand. If you're considering your first military unit or a returnee, please read on.

About the ADF

Whether you're a new recruit or a seasoned veteran of eRepublik, something you always want to do is output the most damage you can, ranking up as fast as possible while defending the country against various invaders.

What you'll get in the ADF.

The Australian Defence Force is essentially dedicated to this sole purpose.
Our aim is to ensure that Australia citizens have the training, assistance, and supplies to both help themselves and help the country, and right now we need everyone we can get to make the country strong.

Additionally, for those who want to get involved with the community, there are plenty of chances for new soldiers to make their name known, and helps add a depth to the game that ingame modules just don't have.

Requirements as a soldier
There is really only one key requirement as a soldier, aside from obvious things like courtesy to your fellow members and ADF command, and that is to respond to roll calls.
Roll calls are held on the eAustralian forums every weekend, and are a requirement for receiving supplies and staying a member of the ADF. During roll call, you determine whether you get auto-supplied for the week or will take supplies on an ad hoc basis daily.

Anyone who takes ADF supplies is expected to use them to follow ADF orders first and your MU second.

How to Join
There are no entry requirements, however there are a couple things to do before joining.

- Sign up on the eAustralian forums, also home to party forums, militia forums, senate, and various other forums - http://community.auserepublik.com/index.php

- Once you have signed up and been approved (approval is to prevent spam bots, which we have been pestered with in huge numbers in recent months), follow this tutorial here, which will give you access to more of our forums - http://community.auserepublik.com/index.php?topic=15946.0

- After your application is accepted (this is to prevent enemies and the like from seeing all our business), post in this thread with the requested details in the first post - http://community.auserepublik.com/index.php?topic=16530.0

This may seem a little bit of work, but luckily you only have to do it once. After you've done all this, you'll be allocated into the orientation squad where you'll learn how everything works, and after a little while you'll be moved into the main ADF regiments, and from there you can only go up (unless you cause problems or ignore roll calls, then I suppose you could go out as well).

Need more supplies?
Since eRepublik increased the number of fights you can do per day, you can now hit up to 240 times with food fights, so if you're an active fighter, ADF supplies just won't be enough (we simply can't sustainably supply that much).

So if you're hankering for more supplies, many militia's in eAustralia also allow you to be a member of them in addition to the ADF. This makes for a prime opportunity to get more supplies and increase the damage you do for Australia and our allies, and really, is there any reason not to do more for the country?

That also means that if you already belong to another MU and you are Australian, you too can still join the ADF for extra supplies. Its the way we roll to roll over our opposition. The following military units all have soldiers co-serving in the ADF:
