Serbians returning the favour

Day 1,536, 13:55 Published in Slovenia Slovenia by Ice Killa

Hard to believe it, but Croats are finally on the verge of losing all their colonies in Mexico, all of the Colombian regions have already been freed. When we are asking ourselves, how is this possible, the answer is simple. Serbs again have a common goal when it comes to getting rid of their enemy and as such decided to ignore their original regions and let Bulgaria, Croatia and Bosnia attack them as much as they want, instead they decided to go directly to Croatian Mexico and do the biggest blow there. Old veterans of eRepublik v1 could and should remember this when Serbians with a decisive action in France managed to prevent Croatia from passing the Balkans to get to the Serbian Liaoning. A truly magnificent action that closely resembles the current Serbian "invasion" of Croatia. From a tactical point of view the win may as well be just short lasting for ONE since EDEN and Terra still overpower the once strongest alliance out there. If Croatia actually is unsuccessful in defending its own regions, an action in Italy is just a matter of time and with Spain occupied, another pass to Mexico will be even easier as before. This time we can get the feeling that Serbian rivals have taken things too easy, even if Serbians aren't united in many things, this is one of them and Croatians are facing a hard task ahead of them. A single tank can't influence on it, only a major "strike" force is needed for that and Serbs, being the strongest community in this game, are well aware of it and are doing it after a long time in the right way. Some would say the miss the times when over 500 of Serbs would hit in a battle in its last minutes, other would just add that was the golden era of our Serbian allies, I will say that it will and just did repeat itself. Way to go, Serbia!

Goodbye to the Croatian realm in Mexico?

Croatia trembling from Serbians
Being above everyone always brings bad things and the feeling that you can handle everything yourself, the feeling that most of your enemies aren't as strong as you. And like I said, Serbians exploited it and shifted the tide. Even if the original Serbian regions are under attack via many EDEN countries, it will just be a matter of time when they will get liberated. Meanwhile their homeland is in rubles, Serbians are making the decisive blow overseas. A truly remarkable feat.

Things may not look bright for Serbians in their original regions, but the story is completely different in Mexico, where they are having plenty of success.

From a tactical point of view Bulgaria is showing it's a country Serbia will have to face head on in the future for the dominance over the Balkan region. Bosnia is just another nation that is strong only due to the fact it has plenty alliances supporting her. Croatia is a known story to us, a country that is always agressive when it comes to achieving her own goals. When a country is on top, there are no limits to expressing your might and dominance, and when we are at this, Colombia was able to see it in full beauty when the EDEN allies showed no compassion towards the South American country.

Hungary still being battered up

A never ending story, as the movie says, that might as well be the case. Romania and Ukraine are a constant pain for the Hungarian side which keeps escaping the grim reality of deletion. Although that won't ease things for Hungarians since they will just have to fight even more if their goal is to liberate their own homeland. An interesting tactical move came from Romania lately, the Hungarian enemy tried to declare war on Slovenia but the border with Slovenia was successfully closed before the NE came into effect.

Hungary is still fighting for her freedom, it has escaped deletion and we can regard that as a first step towards full sovereignty.

In the future tide will change and Romania will once again feel the beauty of being occupied. The following will without a doubt happen to Ukraine as well. It's what history taught us so far.

Unexpected difficulties for Macedonia versus Albania
It is more or less obvious that EDEN and Terra are dominating things at this very given moment, but that doesn't explain the fact that one of the strongest countries in eRepublik is actually having difficulties against Albania that is the size of a smaller country. Things may have been looking quite negative for Macedonians, although they did manage to straighten up things and go on an offensive against Albanian. Their ultimate goal is to conquer the neighboring country and then continue the offensive against Italy.

Albania will quite likely be subdued by Macedonians, an attack on Italy is imminent.

From a strategic point of view we can't expect many changes in the future, Macedonia will succeed in its plan to invade Apenine peninsula and EDEN will yet again team up the Balkan superpower to get rid of them from the Italian boot.

And the master of Scandinavia is?

Russia, Poland and Sweden are in a constant struggle for dominance in the Swedish regions. So far Russia had had many victories, but Poles have turned the tide and are on top of their game once more. If the former EDEN country manages to beat off the Russian, we can expect an invasion into the Russian homeland and drive into the Asian regions.

Sweden has managed to liberate a bigger portion of its territory and will now strive to get rid of the Finnish influence in Norway, but first of all, Russia is the main target.

Adiós, España

For some time Spain has been escaping deletion, but the time has come for it to face it yet again. An interesting fact may be that even the baby boom didn't help the Spanish side as much as they planned it would.

Spain is once more occupied. They may stand a chance if they focus solely on one of the occupying countries.

Their chances may lie if they successfully target one country at a time, so that would mean Brazil and USA and with time successes and victories will come. Even though ONE is winning plenty of battles lately, chances for things to return to its normal stance as they were before the ONE domination are quite unlikely and as such, that means Spain will have to suffer some more.

Many often say that things in eRepublik reflect real life. Once one is on the top, the next day someone else is and the fact is, that is completely true. In eRepublik the only difference is change happens a bit faster than that is the case in the world surrounding us. And as such, Croatia may fall down, it will get up and fall down again, that is happening to Serbia for ages it's a cycle that never ends and you should well be aware of it. Shame we just regard a single loss as a disaster. It's just a beginning of something new, struggle for something better.
