Today, on 26th of the month, day after Senate election, we celebrating our national holiday “Senators are helping country”.
This day fresh elected, dedicated Senators are donating to government tracery organization Israel's Finance Department their “5Gold Senator Medals”, I know that it is not 5G anymore it is mostly something between 3-4G. If you can donate only 50% it is still very good, some people not reach. Most important the idea, that Senators are helping country.

this whole Knesset thing is a race so you get rewarded for being elected so i think nobody should donate their gold , that s why we have a tax system to produce money for the country !

Bailey, we very small country and Taxes can't cover cost of MPPs and war expenses. Last few months our economy was in very good shape. But after Turkish invasion we are straggling, right now these donations are simply must. The country is poor as church mouse. Recently you start turning your attitude, I hope you also can donate couple gold. Thanks for asking & understanding.

I will not “publish the names of the people which didn't donate their gold”, the donating is not mandatory, it is just good will of each Senators and we already have too much fights recently. If you want I can send you by PM the list, it is only 6 names there. All 20 Shalom KM donated their gold and it is only thing that I can control. Tomorrow I will make “thank you” article with final list and total which we collected during this fundraising.
Again thanks a lot to everybody who decide to donate their gold.

Benny, we didn't ask you to condemn them, just to name them, so those who think that this is the right way to act will know to vote for them next time, and vice versa.
Trust me, Chiko, if they get named as non-doners, the general public will condemn them.
Shouldn't they at least give a reasonable explanation as to why they aren't donating the gold?

I don't have a company, I'm working in Q5 company for 20 NIS, and the rest of my money I give (via gifts) for those who need it..
And I still donate everything I get 😉
If I can, everyone can. I can understand you keep to yourself 0.5 gold, but more is kind of "stealling" from the contrey and our citizen. Thats my opinion BTW...
