Security in erepublik - how should we protect ourselves?

Hi,
As you can see in press, there is one big mess. Our national orgs where hacked/stolen (probably stolen by former gov member). Some people have main suspect, I do have too, but I m not 100% sure so I will not accuse anyone here. I hope this guy will be punish by fate (burn in hell bastard!), cause we have no tools and possibilities to do that.
Actually this is not main topic of this article. In this article I would like to focus on country, orgs and citizen security.

1. citizen account
You should have quite long and strong password. 10 characters should be enough. This password can't be simple. I advice to think a while and make new hard password, but easy to remember. It's not that difficult. This password should contain few types of characters: small letters, big letters, numbers and other special characers.
Strong password is important, but will not make you invulnarable to hackers. In past we saw many bugs and 'leaks'. Even now from time to time people are hacked. You should know that clicking on links from strangers brings threat. You can protect yoorself simply by disabling JavaScript, but this will also disable some common erepublik tasks.
Erepublik gives you possibility to make Safety Code. If you are hacked then hacker can't disable your companies. But still he can transfer CC, make article, shouts etc.
2. country and orgs security
If we want safe and stable country we HAVE TO increase level of safety. First, the more gov members the bigger chance that someone will make some harmfull actions. We should base on trusted citizens, new citizens in gov should not have access to orgs.
Access to orgs should be granted only for those who really need that. I think that every ministry resort can work with access to only 1 org. That should be enough. Maybe MoEco should have more, but not all. Only CP can and should have access to all orgs.
That's all. I hope this sticky situation will be solved as soon as possible. We should get some conclusions from this situation and do not make same mistakes in future.

Even CP's should not automatically have access to all orgs/areas some of our past cp's are known thieves , and have run and won since the acts .

CP has the ability to access every National Org he/she wants to by contacting admins. Any CP can take anything he/she chooses. So what you suggest is not actually possible.
So, anyone you are referring to that have run and won, have not taken several million IEP that they have access to.
The reason we were robbed did not have much to do with CPs, but with idiots shouting so much that the ILP thought it would be a politically clever move to change Sweet's system.
Maybe next time a player of the calibre and honesty of Sweet Drinker comes along people will let him get on with the job of making us rich and protecting our money. Doubtful though.

DE did it without any problem from the day one....Sweet so honest showed crap.
And this theft....really....it's ICA signature all over.
What i wander is: is sawc innocent victim or he is your undercover agent who was planning to do that from day one.
But to find who is really the thief all we have to look is who will benefit most from this theft.
ILP and IFP have none.

And lets not forget timing of that theft and impeach 20 minutes after rikian became official.

Store excess in your national accounts unless you are at risk of being wiped. That way it takes 21 thieves to steal it, rather than just the one.
