Screed D'Auvergne

Day 400, 15:29 Published in USA USA by Ogdensign

Well its hill country what I saw..Kinda mountainous like. Heard some of them Frenchy's call it Massif Central...while I don't know about all of that I guess it is sorta big and I reckon it's in the sorta in the center of things so I guess they like to name things simple. I tell you what though...I'll pit our Rockies against there Massif Central any day. We got'em licked there hands down. Had 'em licked in the fight to at least that round. Anyway they had em a few good sized cities and some right fair eatin.
After the fight I set about to enjoy the fruits of victory so to speak. This one right frisky filly gave me something called fromage Saint Nectaire (tasted like cheese) and it was good. Then she broke out a bottle of Volvic. I was figuring she wanted to tie one on and have a roll in the hay but dang if it wasn't water. Good thing I'd had the foresight to bring a mason jar or three of good ol' Alabama White-Lightn'. Well between the mountain-dew my papa made and the fine southern manners my mama whupped in me suffice it to say I felt I was doing a durn good job winning hearts and minds so to speak. Any rate after the fact and all she & I was pillow talking (or what passes for such in a barn) and she allows as how her daddy worked at the tire factory which was just a big ol' coinkydink as it happens my little sisters beau does too! So I found out that Michelin is made there! Who knew? I never even noticed and accent on that big old white fella of theirs..As for me I am a Cooper man but I just let that slide... As I am the rest of this article for now as I got to go out and do Christmas.
Y'all go with me!
