Yes, I have finally given my first real interview via the podcast of my friend and fellow RL West Virginian (who is a transplant from Scotland) Spike Nesmith.

Spike and Paul are RL friends of mine and I've been a fan of the show for a while so I got him hooked into eRepublik a few weeks ago and he's been talking about it more and more each week on his show. Two weeks ago he spent 15 minutes about eRep and this week he dedicated half his show to our favorite game (that's about 45 minutes) and most of that is his interview with yours truly.
So take a gander at it ... or a listen. You may recognize yourself in my interview as I talked about Adminism, PTOs, the history of the game, and various people who you may recognize by description. The eRep part starts about 20 minutes into it and Paul and Spike ask some very insightful questions about why the game is so hard to understand without help and about the very nature of what it means to play eRep. Come along ... it's a fun ride. My "microphone" was a Jawbone2 wireless headset via my iPhone ... sorry for the sound quality.

The podcast was LONG, but I'm glad I got through it while I was doing other things as well. Scrab, you sounded pretty much like I imagined (though a little less Leonard Nimoyish), and a little friendlier of a voice on air. Good interview.

Currently 1 hour 7 minutes in to the podcast right now. You clearly make a point by describing how hard it is for new players to get hooked instantly by the game.
Frankly I think that is quite a big problem, FaceBook is already invented, so are SecondLife. The countries who has 'succeeded' in eRepublik have done so thanks to nationalistic undertones. You mentioned Risk but not Civilization - I think we need more Civilization where countries can choose different paths 'Military', 'Cultural', 'Research' and so on.
Now its chaotic.
It was fun having you on the show, Scrabman. You did great.
