Scandinavian Wars [Day 4-5] - Szwedzi Hey!

Minor briefing:
It was quiet for a day on the Sweden-Germany front before the Swedish president, Meleni, decided to counterattack the Germans, targeting Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The battle was very unpleasant for the Phoenix forces, since Germany had 9 MPPs activated and it would just end up being a battle that would drain their damage from more important fights.

The German president made a decision to retreat the battle (Link), leaving Sweden with an easy victory. One hour after Sweden’s victory Poland decided to attack Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. It's obvious that the Poles are helping out Sweden in the battle, if it's a part of a greater plan only a few selected will know, we "normal" citizens can just hope that it all works out well.

Sweden and Poland have had a long-term friendship that has lasted since the beta, back at these times Sweden was a superpower in the world of Erepublik (Sweden actually saved Poland after Germany's annexation in the Germany-Poland war). Handing over the region to Poland could be a very good move since they have a much greater firepower to put up against a future resistance in that region.
Who knows, maybe Poland will once again join in on a war against Germany?
