Scandinavian eRadio

Day 1,937, 06:29 Published in Norway Norway by Jochen Lutz

This is my article, published in Germark by Versuchskaninchen.
Hello, dear readers!

I will skip the boring introduction, because there is no way to make it sound fascinating and I will move to the point...

Yesterday I spotted a link on the shout wall, leading to the web page of the official Russian on-line radio about Erepublik. I am good enough in speaking and understanding the language, so it was a pleasure to listen and even to ask some questions. A broadcast of an interview with the Russian president about the latest events was going and everybody was able to send questions and topics via chat or call, which made it even more interesting. There were about 50 listeners, which is not a great number, but bearing in mind that eRussia is far from overpopulated here it is impressive to witness such an active audience. Sound and signal were perfect, the show was almost professional and I am sure that many people found it pretty useful as well... There is broadcasting pretty often and when there are not any programs on air there is a beautiful music going.

Then I got interested in the idea - is it not possible to create a similar media in our country too? Of course - eNorway is small and it would be hard to reach a sufficient number of listeners (I haven't seen more than 20 people on-line at the same time!). However, our strong relationship with the other Scandinavian countries, whose alliance we wish to join, allows us to start a common international campaign. We have many similarities, both in RL and here. Soon we are all going to be members of Asgard, we share the same region and interests, as well as the same enemies. United we are not the weak little boy of Europe any more and such a fraternization could be a vital part of our brotherhood.

Broadcasting in English and presenting news from every country, as well as interviews with prominent figures of every nation would form the core of our future eRadio. Shouts and articles could inform the population about future programs and an international squad of "journalists" from Scandinavia could manage the media together. Predictions and comments are what every one wants to hear and we have a chance to make this possible...

I am looking forward to your own ideas and opinion about this issue. Is it possible? Is it going to be approved? Could it be of use?...

Tell me what you think and publish this article in the other Scandinavian countries. Post the link on chats and forums, shout it, please! I am serious and I would be happy if a true discussion about a future eRadio starts!

Thank you!
