Sailing the seas in Clear Skies!

Day 1,724, 14:06 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Meklon Dramicus

So, as promised, today I'm going to talk about clear skies.

Well, I'm lying... sort of, I'm actually going to talk about Clear Skies!

Now, despite popular belief, Eve Online isn't filled with Elitist asshat retards (Thanks for the idea Rednoahl ;P), but instead, like most MMO's and pretty much the interwebs as a whole, it's filled with a variety of player types covering all spectrums of backgrounds, ranging from your generic casual players to your die hard grinders each with their own personal flaws and personalities - to assume otherwise is nothing more than naive.

Personally, the biggest thing that keeps me holed up in my pod (The capsule that you'll spend 99% of your time inside) is the playerbase - they come up with some amazing stuff.... with the Clear Skies team being no exception.

Essentially, they have taken ingame footage of Eve Online from the Singularity Server (Test server) and some custom scripting and modelling from the Half-Life2 Engine and put together nearly 3 hours (total) of a fictitious (more so than usual)Eve Online movie.

I've seen my share of fanbois and fangurls (Yes, they really do exist on the internets), but nothing compares to spending 4 years of dedication to produce 3 hours of footage for you favourite internet spaceship game (Eve is, srs business).

So while you may love, hate or not even have an opinion on Eve Online, I'd like to share with you all the awesomeness that is Clear Skies... please enter with an open mind....

Thanks for watching / reading, tomorrow I think I'll bring a brief intro into Roleplaying (or, as some may put "lolrpfags") in Eve Online and how it has effected the game over the years.

And remember....
