Russia Starts Attacking

Russia took the initiaitve yesterday, and from the remaining three regions (Illinois, New Jersey, Connecticut) started attacking everything in sight. We've got four battles in progress - Iowa (+91k), Kentucky (+139k), Indiana (+129k) and Wisconsin (+15k). Add to that the Colombian attacks on Arkansas (+94k), Louisiana (+186k) and Kansas (+24k) and you could say that US is in trouble. Is it? Yes and no - they've got a lot of open battles, but it looks like thay are managing them just fine.


USA

US managed quite unexpectedly to win the RW for Rhode Island with a minimal margin of just -385 points. The wall in this battle never went neither over +6k nor below -3k and if the previous day saw Russia secure Connecticut by the smallest of margins, they lost Rhode Island yesterday in the same manner.

No surprises in the remaining battles. Russia secured New Jersey (+173k) in a battle where a stronger finish was expected from US and the allies, but it never came. US secured Nebraska (+170k) and California (+307k) in battles against Colombia, but did not manage to win the RW for New Mexico (+16k). Another RW - Missouri (+26k) is in progress at the moment.


Colombia

No changes on the Canadian front either. Hungary is still being blocked - this time by a RW (+146k) and an attack on Saskatchewan (+185k). And today is the day Portugal hands over the last region in North America to US - Maryland (+14k). In Europe Thuringia (-4k) is being handed back to Germany and there just one region left for Germany to recalim all of its original regions - Saxony-Anhalt.
