Running for London

Day 851, 05:00 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Gabriel McCook

Hello Londoners.
I am hoping to get your vote again in London for the Radical Freethinkers Alliance. The RFA are a centrist party that believe that to serve the country best, we must hear all arguments. Our party is a place where both the Communists and the Far-Right come together to debate the right way for policy to go.

This would be (hopefully) my second time in Congress, having managed to get in last month in London as a wildcard.

Political Views
I think that I am probably on the left of the RFA and somewhat created a small furore on the party forums over this. However, I still remain fully supportive of the RFA, and I thank them for their support.

Economic
I am beginning to grasp the eWorld's economy, and I think that the UK has possibly got the best team to deal with the current climate in the markets. Ian Keers is a very astute economist, and if he chooses to run for PM in the next term, then he definitely has my vote.
I have a few ideas on the economy, and have contributed them to the RFA economic manifesto, including a company subsidy program that I hope would help new players buy or create, companies.

EDEN/Phoenix
The 'Cold War' situation with EDEN will carry on right into the introduction of the new version, and the eUK must be at the heart of the Phoenix drive to secure the regions that will become more important by that time. I am very pro-Phoenix and am especially grateful for their help during the recent invasion.

New Players
I have always maintained that new players are this country's most valuable resource, and I stick to this. It is of vital importance to the eUK that our new players can become part of the forum - and by extension our community - easily. If any new players are reading, then feel free to drop me a line, either at the forums or in game, if you need help or advice.

Why vote for me?
As you will notice, I managed to win my first seat last month, and I would stay with the same dedication to the eUK as before. I would hope to help with the situation on the markets and to assist the government's schemes to boost demand. The economy is the biggest problem at the moment, and I would like to dedicate a large portion of my time in Congress to helping solve it.

Much has changed since my first try at congress (in the February elections) and I am sure that V2 - now just around the corner - will change the eUK even more than the recent turbulence.

Vote for the future.
Vote Radical.
Vote McCook.
