Running for Country President of eCanada [Day 1987]

Greetings fellow eCanucks.

It is my pleasure to publicly announce that I am putting my name in as a candidate for CP of eCanada. I will keep this article brief, touching on some of the issues I'll be dealing with as CP. I had a much better article written, but eRepublik glitched during the publication process, so I'm rewriting it all by memory.



Anyone who is familiar with the Code Geass anime series, don't let my name fool you. I do not wish to become an emperor. Rather, I wish to represent you the people on the global stage.

First thing I want to address is the current eSpain occupation. Many of you know how I stand on this issue. Many of you also disagree with my stance, and rightfully so. I admit that I'm in the minority when it comes to my views, however, I will not let my personal opinions guide my hand. I will not do anything that would go against the wishes of the majority of eCanadians. If the public chooses to fight, I'll be right beside you all on the battlefield. If the public wish to negotiate, I'll negotiate with the Spanish Government. That being said, as CP, I'll be in constant communications with them, seeking any endgame solution that will benefit the people of this nation. But as I stated above, I will not agree to anything unless the people will it. It is my goal to provide the public with a completely transparent government. I believe the Government should work for the people, and not the other way around.

Second, I wish to further strengthen our bond with our Nordic Comrades in Asgard who have fought side by side with us eCanadians to put Canada back on the map, and subsequently provide us with the privilege of having a congress last month. We have earned a spot in a small, but tight knit alliance, and I wish to aid them in any way we can.

Another goal of mine is to work closely with our friends and organize another attempt at freeing enough regions to secure a congress for June. This will not be easy, I admit, but I believe that we can do it once again. We are strong. We are resilient. We have fought foreign occupation many times in the past, we can do this. MU funding will be crucial if this is to be successful. I will help organize CAD and Supply support for these missions, and will aid anyone with anything they may need, from advice, to moving costs and the like.

I will be writing another article soon addressing any questions that the eCanadian people may have about my plans for CP. I encourage everyone to drop me a PM with any questions or concerns.
