Introduction

I have decided to run again for a second term as an incumbent congressional representative for the Federalist Party, since my first term was not abusive enough. All kidding aside my first term as a congressional representative was both difficult and invigorating with the challenges the 28th mandate had to face (e.g. PTO infiltration, EDEN withdraw, economy, etc.). Many tough decisions had to be made and I am glad to say that I stood by my ideals and not once waivered in my promises made during my campaign. As always my voting record is public knowledge and can be both viewed from the Google spreadsheet here or on the eUSForum thread.

With that said, we face many more challenges including the release of V2, PTO incursion of a top 5 Party (Democratic Republicans), a known anti-eAmerican antagonist in charge of another party (Republican Party), and PHOENIX allied countries who would love nothing more than to penetrate our soil again. eAmerican needs leadership that they can trust and stand strong during these difficult times. Trust me we will endure these challenges as we have done so in the past if we stay resolute and unified. eAmerican needs leadership that has integrity, confidence, exemplary behavior, focused, honest, steadfast, and passionate. I believe my experience and character speaks for itself.

My promise to all my constituents and national residents is

1. To uphold and maintain the dignity of the Federalist Party Platform with the best of my ability through honesty and integrity.
2. To make informed, researched political decisions on proposed laws and be involved in useful and active dialog.
3. Share openly and honestly with the public my congressional record.
4. Continued support of the eUS Military, private militias, and the President in its current efforts to proactively hold Phoenix and its supporters at bay.
5. To openly listen to and address citizen concerns on pertinent issues.
6. I cannot promise that I will not make mistakes; but I do promise to take full accountability and ownership for all of my actions.

New Citizen Retention

Citizens need to feel involved and have a sense of community and purpose. I have and will continue to support government and party organizations such as Meals on Wheels, USA Welcoming Committee, Flying Unicorn Squadron, eUS Mentor Program, and political party programs such as the Federalist Mentor and Outreach Programs. The sooner we can get new citizens engaged; the more likely they are to become active and productive citizens.

Military Support

Being both an active member of the Easy Company Militia and a former member of eUS National Guard, I understand the importance this service has provided and the training I received. Not only is organized military imperative for national security, but it too is a key element in new citizen retention.

Economy

The unfortunate side effect of the eRepublik economy is the fact that economic growth is contributed to expansion or fair open trade. In all honesty, I have deployed too many nations where income compared to market expenses has been far worse. Many of the news articles in regards to today’s economic conditions are just hype or people remembering what it was like during the Golden Days. Nevertheless, new businesses need the opportunity to flourish and produce. I support the continued education of future entrepreneurs through various organizations that teach ways to minimize tax expense. I will also stand behind my belief that high taxes equate to stagnation and inhibits growth.
