Run, hide - or fight.

It's nice to see that eDenmark finally is starting to wake up again. Some of us have been waiting for this for quite some time, and I imagine the people who have held the fort for the last year or so might be the people who are most relieved of all. Believe it or not, a dead community is not something anyone of us prefers when compared to an alive one - even though that could mean we wouldn't be in control of everything.

I've played this game for years. I've seen great players come, do marvelous things and massive amounts of work - and then leave the game. Most do so for two reasons: frustration with the game itself. Whatever people are left tend to get bored after a while. The worst part, in my opinion, is seeing people that you've never heard or spoken with wither away. The silent crowd, marching to their death, was something I found inspiration in once - and developed a story, loosely in cooperation with another player, in which Denmark was invaded by the living dead. Instead of killing them off however, Danes tried to find ways for them to work for us.

Maybe it's that kind of creativity and willingness to live I think we lack right now - and I'd like you to prove me wrong.

I'm a man of the media, and I have to say: it's been quite a while since we had two articles to choose between where at least one wasn't mine. That gives me hope that there's something going on out there. Even if you're only writing about how stupid we are and how much you hate our union with Germany - I read it. I try to comment and make sure you know. I cannot stress how important it is that you keep writing - whatever comes to your mind, and that is beyond spam. Danish or English - I don't care. The only way we can survive this game is working together. Perhaps not always in the same way, or even in the same direction - as long as it's for Denmark. That must be our top priority, for those of us with a proud Danebrog next to "citizenship".

On the 15th this month I hope to become the Party President of what is now known as the Liberal Alliance party. I can assure you that things will change within this party. We're going to launch actual political suggestions and attempt to challenge some of the staleness that we're in right now. I think our current leaders are a bit tired, and would appreciate someone taking at least some of their workload. I'm not saying that I disagree with the current administrators - on the contrary most of the time. Some might call this "putting on a show", but I am a drama addict. I will myself promote activity, and make sure that we're using all your potential, will and time spent in game to the max.

Resurrecting Denmark will take hard work, time and a whole lot of patience. If you think you have what it takes, now is the time to step up. This might not be our only chance - but it could literally be years before you get another like this.

Accept my challenge, heed Denmark's call. In this small eDen, you can change something. That's something most countries don't have.
