Rules of War Every Greek Should Know
Buck Roger
READ IT IN GREEK (Thanks, delphic!)
#1 Follow Official Orders -- LISTEN!
This is the "FOOL" principle, because the citizen who does not follow it is a fool. So long as you live in and support Greece, the military will have orders for you to follow, without exception. I have every respect for your right to disagree but not for sabotage of the Greek military's war effort.
The "LISTEN!" part of the rule is the active component: you must find the official orders daily. They are here in Ethniki Amina (subscribe!), the official newspaper of the Greek Ministry of Defense.
You can use the eGR_BattleOrders script (with Greasemonkey for Firefox) or the English-translated revision of the same script (newly updated today!) to help you.
#2 Avoid Speculation, Skeptic
This is the "ASS" principle, because the citizen who does not follow it often misleads others who take their suspicions, fears, or hypotheses as truth. Or they are one of those who mistakenly take guesses as fact.
Yes, this applies even to this article. Read it, but verify with logic and evidence.
#3 Vote Our Important Content to Eminence
This is the "VOICE" principle, because otherwise our top-voted articles in the press are clogged with propaganda, speculation, and nonsense. The flip side is not to vote for that joke article that seems to be gaining traction in the press.
The one newspaper to which this always applies is the official Ministry of Defense paper, but you also use your judgment to apply it to other helpful pieces.
#4 Don't Observe Or Reserve! Defend It Enthusiastically!
This is the "
😉O OR DIE" principle, because eGreece is embroiled in a total war the likes of which it has not seen in months. The outcomes of important battles, like that in defense of Central Greece, are those upon which the fate of our nation pivots.
Get higher quality guns, use 10 gifts and high quality food, donate GOLD to higher level tanks or the Hellenic Depository. Now is not the time for hoarding. Take the initiative to give it your all. Do not assume everyone else will carry your weight.
#5 Smart Thinking and Reason Always Trump in an Even Gunfight, Youngin'
Yes, STRATEGY. Mighty nations have lost regions they did not expect to lose, for which they prepared to fight tenaciously. The USA lost her California, and just days ago, once-mighty Indonesia lost Karnataka. Do not assume that Thrace, Aegean Islands, Macedonia, or even the economic capital of Central Greece are secure because of their importance; ensure they are secure because of their importance and prepare for any outcome. In short, don't let feelings blind you.
This is especially relevant to congress members, who must be prepared to evacuate any region under attack in advance: If you will not be online at the time of the battle's end, you must leave the region to one not under attack, or you risk loss of your congress seat and throwing away your two proposals. (Proposals that we may need over the course of the next twenty-five days.)
But it is relevant to everyone. One matter I will mention is that of the domestic market for Moving Tickets and Gifts. In Greece, there is heavy strain on these commodities especially (though also, of course, on Weapons) due to the world war. It is entirely possible that the price will be doubling or tripling on some of these goods soon, as they have in the past during mass migrations and war. You can get them cheaper by asking someone (or using some organization) to buy them in a friendly country; moreover, you can then leave those tickets or gifts on the domestic market for those who need them there.
Did you notice something? The last paragraph was speculative. Use your reasoning to judge.
Sum It Up, Buck!
Follow these five principles, and you will help us win the war.
#1 Follow Official Orders -- LISTEN! (FOOL)
#2 Avoid Speculation, Skeptic (ASS)
#3 Vote Our Important Content to Eminence (VOICE)
#4 Don't Observe Or Reserve! Defend It Enthusiastically! (DO OR DIE)
#5 Smart Thinking and Reason Always Trump in an Even Gunfight, Youngin' (STRATEGY)
Or, putting it all together: Don't be a FOOL or an ASS. Use your VOICE wisely, have a DO OR DIE attitude, and direct your attention and resources in an accurate STRATEGY.

Εντάξει μωρέ, ξέρει ο Έλληνας, πως να βοηθήσει την χώρα. Αλλά όταν στα λένε έτσι κατάμουτρα, αναρωτιέσαι... Ζώο είμαι;
I write in English, AlexTheGreatReborn. I'd need a translator for Greek. I'd be amused to see someone try to translate the 5 acrostics.
As to the fact that the winning of a war is mostly unglamorous execution of orders to meet objectives, yes, there is definitely a streak of "just do it" in every good warrior. The part where talking and questioning comes into play is in everything but #1, following orders. One must use reasoning and discretion in order to avoid making rash statements, to vote up appropriate news, to commit to an unabashed and generous effort, or to discover and to coordinate correct strategy. Therefore, "no talking, no questions" (no thinking) is about 80% wrong of what I submit to the reader.
