Good Day, Citizens!
I am writing this article in order to set some things straight, considering the present situation between Romania and its allies.
In the last few days I’ve noticed an aggression from Romanian citizens, towards the United States, starting with Gaius Julius’s article regarding the battle of Liaoning where he publicly asked for Romania’s help. This behavior comes from the image built by the last military events concerning Romania and EDEN – our allies. When I say last events I talk about the battle of Kyushu, our offensive in Bulgaria and last but not least the battle of Liaoning.
The thing is, in the last months our relationships with EDEN have been damaged in some ways. This happened thanks to the lack of communication between the members of the Romanian government and the members of the alliance. This caused “a violent breakup” in EDEN, from Romania’s point of view. Romanians, as far as I know, don’t seem to like our allies anymore, thanks to EDEN’s approach regarding our offensive in Bulgaria.
In my opinion the behavior stated before comes from disinformation and lack of interest. Romanian citizens should understand that EDEN did not support any of the offensives that had nothing to do with plans regarding the alliance, offensives like ours, or for example the one in Poland. It is true that we needed to revive our nation through a war involving Romania directly, but we shouldn’t take any help for granted, untied aid from our allies.
I personally don’t like how things are going now. This is being a "tit for tat" battle and it does not help anybody. All it does is to create dissensions in the alliance and to paralyze our development as a country, speaking of our evolution on the diplomatic field.
We did helped everybody in resistance wars and other missions for too many months, and now it may seem they did not do that when we needed it , but it is not that drastic. We did help the US when they needed it but I am sure that if we were to be conquered they would do that for us any time .
Other thing Romanian citizens should understand is that during a period we did not came up with a plan that could state clearly our intentions and something that could help us and the alliance in the same time. We had the plan to attack Hungary, a self-deceit plan meant to fail from the beginning [we all know that] and the one in Bulgaria which let’s face it…on a long term it couldn’t help us at all. Because we are a member of EDEN, the interests of the alliance come first. That is what we have to understand and cope with!
We have to be sure that this is a fresh start for Romania in EDEN and our relationships with allies will improve. We won their respect when Spain was wiped off the map, when we helped Canada or when we helped USA not to be erased off the map. We also did our best in Liaoning yesterday and that made our allies say “you rock guys!” - an expression I haven’t heard for a while. We have to give it all!

trust is something that's earned, and right now, most of the romanians feel they were betrayed by US, and thats not going to change that easily

With all the hostility surrounding us, it would be highly unwise to cause unnecessary and artificial conflicts with our allies.

Crista22, we're not a country of mercenaries. We're not supposed only to make trips to other countries to lay down damage, we're also supposed to be given support in our own struggles. Up until now, that hasn't happened (with the exception of Croatia and Poland if i'm not mistaken). An alliance should work both ways. We've invested a lot in the Bulgarian operation, the end of which would have been only natural for any logical player who has decent knowledge about what's happening here in eRep. However, it was the way we lost which had impact on us, not the result itself. I wasn't expecting the Americans to drain their treasury with us, just to come and fight 5 times, it would have made me feel proud to be part of EDEN's army. My personal image of USA has changed and i will remain reluctant until I'll see some help from them, at least once. If HelloKitty falls, we might have some scores to settle with a certain neighbor, and if that happens i'm really curious if we get help, cause they will surely have all the help in PHOENIX.
Until then, I'll fight for EDEN interests. If that means I have to help the US, then I'll pretend the US is Croatia or Poland. And I don't hate US, i'm just dissapointed of them.

Oportunitatea in Asia era prea mare ca sa fie scapata. Noi am cules castraveti prin Bulgaria (OK a fost frumos, dar campania nu avea finalitate de aia nimeni nu a percutat- e asa greu de inteles asta?) cata vreme SUA chiar au avut culoar de cucerit. Si uite ca prin ei EDEN a ajuns si la iranieni si le-a dat la gioale.
Ce s-o mai dam atat dupa tufis: noi n-avem cum sa ajungem in HelloKitty sau Karnataka, dar SUA au cum. Hai sa ducem treaba la sfarsit si dupa aia vedem care sunt de fapt problemele (daca sunt).

It's in the interest of the aliance to not alienate one of it's most important members and we all know without a war Romania would have imploded and the president linched by the furious mobs.The fact that they don't support our actions is exactly the problem.
At this point EDEN has an image problem and if they want the public opinion an their side they need to act and work to fix things, not with pointless explanations and BS.An apology and a promise for more support in the future would be a good start.

Let's see the things as they are:
Did RO officials ask for EDEN help in our Balkan adventure? : MAYBE
Did EDEN officials come to a conclusion that our adventure is to be supported? : MOST PROBABLY NOT...
Did EDEN armies receive any clear order to support our adventure? : NOT, because it was not the case.
So, nothing to blame here on USA or any other ally!

@counterinca: noi am investit mult, dar cu ce scop (in afara de un pic de palmares)? Sa ii cucerim pe bulgari? Bun, i-am cucerit. Dupa aia? Sa ii cucerim pe turci? Era clar ca va fi imposibil sau foarte dificil- dupa cate MPP-uri au. Luam o regiune, doua, trei. OK. Ajungeam la iranieni in regiunile lor originale. Alte MPP-uri. Campania romaneasca a fost moarta din fasa, a fost buna doar sa ne mai dezmortim un pic oasele si sa simtim un pic de adrenalina. A fost buna pentru moral, si doar atat.
Deci? Unde e campania noastra? Uita-te ce posibilitati sunt in Asia. Noi nu avem nimic in jurul nostru unde sa zburdam pe campii. Oriunde ne ducem ne lovim de o gramada de MPP. Cei care pot ajunge acolo din EDEN sunt SUA.
Strategic, americani trebue ajutati in Asia. Cei mai importanti dusmani ai nostri au coloniile de fier acolo. Din acest punct de vedere sunt de acord sa ajutam cum putem mai bine America.
EDEN are probleme. Iar acestea trebue rezolvate. Ce rost are sa fi intro alianta care nu functioneaza. Multumesc dar nu.
eUSA army sucks. Astia nu au armata nici sa se bata cu Turcia de la egal la egal. Noroc cu cardurile si bani din RL ca au putut sa bata Iranul si aliati. Ei reprezinta cea mai slaba componenta a aliantei. Trebue sa faca ceva sau intr-o zi vor pierde totul. Si nu cred ca prea multi vor plange pt ei.

8-3=1, nu te contrazic in ceea ce spui, asta am zis mai sus. insa vorbim de moral da? nu le-am cerut sa tancheze, ci as fi asteptat 5 lupte, atat, tot pentru moral. era prea mult? noi ne dadeam de ceasul mortii in presa si ne chinuiam sa mobilizam tot ce aveam, iar ei barem un articol oficial de sustinere morala nu au facut. nici macar nu ne-au bagat in seama. problema e de atitudine.

Din acest articol am inteles ca Romania s-a pornit anapoda prin popusoi, iar SUA prin faptul ca nu ne-a acordat suport a luminat calea noastra dreapta, adica somnul intre frontierele existente - buuun....

Strategic campania noastra a fost "flawed" pentru ca nu a avut finalitate. Iti zic asta pt ca am vazut planurile inainte sa inceapa campania si parerea mea a fost aceeasi: ca ne vom opri in porumb. Razboiul cu bulgarii a fost pur si simplu pentru moralul nostru si aliatii nu au avut decat un rol simbolic. Deci nu are sens sa ne luam de ei ca nu au dat. Desi noi i-am ajutat prin damage drain si prin impulsul ofensiv.
De asemenea si mesajul prin care s-a cerut ajutorul EDEN pentru campania romaneasca din Bungaria+Turcaria a fost mai mult decat subtire. Asta ca sa fiu bland. Reactia lor pe mine nu m-a surprins.

@Jack-Black: pai noi pe cine sa atacam? Pe Ungaria, Serbia- care au o gramada de MPP? Pe Ucraina, care e tara prietena? Pe Bulgaria? Am atacat-o. Si ne-am oprit in MPP-urile Turciei. Ah...MOLDOVA. Il luam la betze pe OchiReci. Si cerem suport EDEN. Sa fim seriosi. Romania e blocata pe moment. Atacul asupra Bulgariei a fost o rabufnire de moment, care era clar ca nu poate dura prea mult.
SUA au culoar de atac. Si foarte bine ca ataca. Acu 5 luni cand SUA si Canada erau rase de pe fata pamantului si scriam ca exista posibilitatea sa atacam in Europa si sa luam presiunea de pe zona Americii, stii care era raspunsul? Sa merg pe burta. Nice tactics 🙂
Acuma americanii ataca in Asia si iau presiunea de pe zona noastra. In fond ne-au ajutat ca tot damage-ul de pe zona noastra s-a dus in Asia.

Radar.2, chiar am o mare durere. Joc megajocul asta din martie, exact pe la sfarsitul imperiului roman. de atunci si pana acum singura actiune serioasa de care imi amintesc este razboiul din bulgaria si turcia. acest razboi parea ca va aduce ceva actiune in joc, insa aflu acum de la 8-3=5 ca era clar ca ne infingem in zid.
poate pentru unii e distractiv sa intre in politica sa schimbe taxa de la 11% la 12% si eventual sa isi mai traga niste gold, poate pentru altii e distractiv sa faca o firma si ceva evaziune fiscala, sau poate unii se distreaza luptand in razboie pentru tari gen america sau lucrand in spania pe salarii duble... not for me. eu sunt revoltat ca am dat 2+ click-uri pe zi timp de 11 luni ca sa ce? ca sa nimic...

I write and article telling the pop. to fight in USA convincing the soldiers that is the right thing to do ,and I BELIEVE IT WAS AND IT IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO ..but i can't forget that day r those days when i was looking UP for " US AIR FORCE " TO DROP SOME BOMB on that SOFIA & MARMARA walls ..they never came. Time has past but my deep regret and sorrow... NO !
Now i am a soldier ,understanding the orders and follow theme where ever they might take me..but once again in MARMARA 100 USA would have been enough..for how many fights i give in USA since i play this game !

A fost frumos si a fost adrenalina si ne-am coordonat foarte frumos. Aia care au forta au tancat super-calumea, fost o placere sa urmaresc. Toata admiratia mea pentru armata romana. Dar rezultatul era previzibil.
