Rising New Players: The Next Generation [Part One]

Day 1,846, 07:22 Published in United Kingdom Norway by Major Lee Hung

Every so often, we see a cycle players go through. An experienced member of the community leaves, but a new member joins eRepublik and stays. Lately, we've been seeing more and more new players burst in to the ranks - I feel the best way to keep new joiners coming in faster than people leave us, is to support them as much as possible in their early months. Encouraging them to get involved wherever they can is a great help.

This article is the first part of a series of articles I'm planning to right to highlight the achievements and efforts of new members; those who with the right treatment and nourishment, will easily become key members of the eUK community very soon.

Here is a list of some of the newer players I've come across who I feel may even be president some day:

Fenyang

Birth Date: 5th November (1 month old)
Party: UKIP
Areas of Progression: Politics, Media and Military

Fenyang is a friend of mine on eRepublik, and so far, I've thoroughly enjoyed working with him, and I look forward to working with him more in the future. He's currently attempting to break in to politics, and I'm definitely going to be giving him that chance. He fights for the eUK where he can, he's only a month old but already frequents IRC with the rest of Funky and he's generally a great person to have in our community.

In the media, Fenyang is known for his articles aimed at assisting new members. While a new member himself, he's very keen to spread his experience he's gained so far amongst other new members. In the near future, he should definitely be given a chance as Ministry of Education.

I believe he is somebody who should definitely be allowed to progress in to congress and cabinet positions, because he's somebody who will be around to lead us in the future.

nathaner

Birth Date: 17th August (5 months old)
Party: UKIP
Areas of Progression: Politics, Military

Nathaner is definitely a candidate for a CP one day. He's already a junior cabinet member in BigAnt's cabinet this term, serving under the Ministry of Health. With congress elections coming up soon and him being in a party which gives him a good shot at progressing further, there's no reason why he can't be a full cabinet member by February and start making a difference politically.

On the battle field, he's delivered a significant amount of damage for both the eUK and its allies. Already Field Marshal after five months, we can probably expect to see some tanking in the distant future and a significant impact on our future battles.

wigibob

Birth Date: 18th June (six months)
Party: New Era
Areas of Progression: Political

Already achieving congressman twice in six months, he's off to a great start in his political career. From what I've seen of him, he'd make a great candidate for Minister of Home Affairs; somebody should definitely try him out in this role.

In the media, he's known for presenting humourous random facts. In war, he's achieved 8 BHs so far in six months, which is impressive. Due to the nature of his party, it's likely he's going to be driven and encouraged to eventually progress - all we need to do is make sure those outside of his party are going to give him the opportunities he needs.

Bohemond4

Birth Date: 15th October (2 months old)
Party: TUP
Areas of Progression: Political

Bohemond4 is somebody I'd consider a friend on eRepublik. He's very friendly and has been one of the few party presidents willing to work with the DSP in its early days. Only 2 months old, he's already president of the second largest party in the eUK.

He's a generally pleasant guy and full of good ideas and strong leadership skills. He's somebody I've thought could always become country president within 12 months. He has a drive to achieve everything he can, and he's largely helped the TUP's relations with other parties during times of a split in society.

With one congress trophy so far, he's clearly proven to the powers that be in the TUP that he's ready to move forward - and he's delivered on that for them. It won't be long until you see him frequent the cabinet, and he's another citizen that I feel would be well suited to the MoHA.

In the media, he's known for his articles aimed at TUP members, but they're very informative for everybody. Running events to build the community and frequently addressing citizens are just two of the many things he does, and they're all valued skills for any Minister of Home Affairs, further adding to my point.

Thanks for reading part 1! Look out soon for part 2, where I explore more new members we need to present opportunities to.
