Revolution Under Threat

Day 2,039, 03:53 Published in Australia Australia by Paul J Keating

Dear brothers and sisters of the revolution, I write today to warn you of an insidious counter-revolutionary plot to undermine the revolutionary republic. In recent days the revolution has succeeded in destroying the old ways. Our revolutionary republic left NaN without so much as a peep on the forums where the enemies of the revolution may have voiced opposition. The old laws were consigned to the scrap-heap of history, and already are being redacted from the text books so that the children of the revolution may never learn of our despicable past. The spiritual mother of the revolution has finally issued the declaration of victory: "eAus of old is no more. Forum laws and ridulious rules are gone."

But there are those who would revert to the old ways, counter-revolutionary traitors who must be stamped out. This plot is perpetrated by the running-dogs of the seditious counter-revolutionary forces who would undermine the glorious revolutionary future. It gives me great pain to alert you that these cowardly dogs count among their numbers members of your own revolutionary party.

The counter-revolutionary plot is taking place in front of our own eyes. Though it gives me great pain to point it out, I must alert you that senators are making proposals and conducting discussion in the senate forum. This cancerous legacy of a despicable past is now being used both by counter-revolutionary forces and members of the glorious party of the revolution in accordance with the despised laws and protocols of our hated past.

If these traitors are allowed to continue in their wicked ways transparent and open government decision-making may be considered normal. The children of the revolution will begin to expect to see what's going on and even now they give their unwanted opinions in the public gallery as if they have a right to be heard.

These traitorous counter-revolutionary forces must be stamped out, and their severed accounts hung high in the streets of our cities and towns as a lesson to all who would follow in their cowardly path.

Take action dear brothers and sisters lest the glorious revolution come to nought.
