Retirement?

Day 1,016, 17:31 Published in Canada Canada by Duke Leto

Hello eCanada. I am here to tell you about my first day at school. I got my locker, visited all my teachers, read over all their syllabuses and I realized something which I knew was to come: I have to quit. I cannot remember to be a 7 clicker from now till the end of June. I must retire from this game because I see myself not being able to come back. I am gone for most of July and August. I am then going to need to get a job to pay for my University tuition (at the current rate tuition is rising in Alberta, it will be huge) Then during University I am aiming for Medical School, and it will require me to be a cutthroat to get in. So I hereby announce my retirement on Day 1017 at zero hour.

To Nosyt: ~Hyuu~

To my readers: I am sorry, but I am not feeling the love with my series I tried to start up. Read Devil Carrier's work, he writes good fiction from time to time.

To my friends: You made this game a fun escape from the horrors that make up this world. It gave me a pleasant escape and gave me a chance to be what I could not be.

To Sperry: Drop Justin Bieber and I will buy you a beer.

To Arty: Hope you get to be the PP of DAL.

To Adasko: Run, you troll!

To TemujinBC: You are the best bastard I know. Keep it up.

To Acacia Mason: I owe you one interview. If I can find time in my schedule, I will contact you and try to set up something.

To the people who do not know me: I will give you my story.

I was born on January 11, 2009. I didn't go into politics until I was about three months old when I won a congress seat under the CSD flag. I would do this seven more times. I would win one more seat under the DAL flag after a brief dispute with Trenton Rendell. I would then win two seats with EPIC.

I was accused of the quitting of Cleomynystra Cathak, which I deny. The next PP election, Trenton Rendell (another person accused of the PP quitting) became the Party President. He then suggested that I be the Minister of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) to Jacobi, where he will be the first "Boomer" President with a focus on the younger gamers and other Boomers (I being one of them). As MoFA, I created the Ambassador Corps., which has now evolved into one of the best in the eWorld due to the different MoFAs. I quit after Jacobi's first term due to RL issues. I would return as Derek Harland’s Deputy MoFA under another Jacobi term. This is when I tried persuading the Irish to join eCanada’s side against the UK. Under William Duncan’s cabinet as JFSTpierre’s Deputy MoFA, in charge of the Ambassador Corps, my growing baby. That was my last executive position held.

In the CAF I was able to grab a hold on a Lieutenant position of the 27th Reserve Platoon. I quit the position and the CAF for three to four months because it took too much of my personal life away from me. I returned during the Canada invasion as a private in the reserves to fight against the invading forces and quit after Canada got taken over. I have been in the CAF for the past five months and have been able to snag the title of Sergeant. I will never see a Lieutenant position again.

My writing career started off in a not so glorious start and wrote mostly platforms. I used it for mostly politics and made some criticisms about our society and proposed change for my own interest. I had a few successful articles, only one got into the now defunct Writers Guild of Canada, here it is: http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/the-swede-german-war-the-duke-s-perspective-811323/1/20. My political rants caused me to be an enemy of Bruck and the CEP. I constantly shot them down for trying to control the government and how we needed to change. This is what has gotten me a majority of my subscribers.

That is all I can think of right now.

So eCanada, I am going to leave you tonight. Yes Saltydog, I am leaving.

I leave you a section of one of my idols, Abraham Lincoln from his poem, “My Childhood Home I see Again”

“…Near twenty years have passed away
Since here I bid farewell
To woods and fields, and scenes of play,
And playmates loved so well.

Where many were, how few remain
Of old familiar things;
But seeing them, to mind again
The lost and absent brings…”- lines 21-28 of “My Childhood Home I See Again” By Abraham Lincoln
