Sup America

I came back to this game about a week ago, so I figured I might as well run another one of these polls, as its the only thing I ever was good at in this game. I sent about 4000 pm's this month and received 402 responses, a few "Good jobs", and numerous amounts of hate mail. Seeing as I did send about 4000 messages, and only received 400 replies, it means either one of two things:
1. I am extremely unlikable, and upon reading my message the vast majority of America laughed and didn't do it, or
2. There are only like 500 active citizens

Personally, i think its a combination of both.

(Some of the answers on the pictures don't come through all the way, so I will present the numbers below the graph as well as the picture. If you wish to check the numbers yourself, I will include a link at the bottom to all of the data.)

Now, some of my questions this month are extremely simple, bland ones, but, as I've been gone for the past few months, I felt it prudent to go back over these to get a newer average as a jumping off point for future months. You most likely won't see several of these questions next month

For my first question, I asked you, "How did you come to Erepublik?"

Through an ad 150 (37😵
Through a referral 181 (45😵
Through a review of the game 71 (18😵

The numbers really don't need any analysis. The majority come through referrals given by other players, and is followed closely by people who like to click on shiny advertisements. Honestly though, i'm still confused on one part: I have never, ever seen a positive review of this game. Where are these players seeing this?

Next, I asked you how many times you log into Erepublik each day

Rarely 0 (0😵
Every once in a while 14 (3😵
Once a day 73 (18😵
2-4 times a day 185 (46😵
5 or more times a day 130 (32😵

Compared to my results from a few months ago, it seems more and more people are logging in far more often. This is due to the changes in the fighting system, I suppose, as when the other poll was done, you only got 300 extra health per day

Next, I asked "How much time do you spend on erep each day?"

15 minutes or less 61 (15😵
15 to 30 minutes 99 (25😵
30 minutes to an hour 80 (20😵
Over an hour 162 (40😵

Well, lots of people waste time on this game. And neither will I on this analysis

Next I asked, "How often do you fight?"

I fight every day 326 (81😵
I fight in important battles 21 (5😵
I fight every once in a while 36 (9😵
I rarely fight 16 (4😵
I don't fight 3 (1😵

Upon thinking of an analysis of this question, I realized it was entirely retarded. Most everyone fights simply because they will always have food for fights due to the admin giving everyone farms. Most likely the ones who are not fighting either are objecting to the war module, just selling their food, or are too young in this game to know how beneficial fighting is

Next, I asked "How often do you fight with weapons of any quality?"

Always 226 (56😵
Only in important battles 68 (17😵
I rarely use weapons 85 (21😵
I don't use weapons 23 (6😵

The vast majority of people fight with weapons when they fight. Once again, this one isn't really interesting as I simply needed it as a jumping off point for future polls

Next, "Have you ever benefited from one of the country's retention programs?(IE: Bewbz4Newbz, Meals on Wheels, Mentor Program ect.)"

Yes 183 (46😵
No 219 (54😵

Lots of people use the DoI's community programs. More don't

Next I asked, "If you answered No to the above question, why didn't you?"

I answered yes 186 (46😵
I did not know about the programs 65 (16😵
I thought it would be too much of a hassle 34 (8😵
I didn't want to take away food or funds because I could supply myself 117 29%

Now, the majority of people who don't request any supplies seem to do so because they can produce food on their own, without the help of any government program. That makes sense, but something that worries me is the 65 people who apparently don't know about the program at all.

Next on my merry list, is yet another follow up question. "If you have participated in one of these programs, what was your experience with it?"

I haven't used any of those programs 210 (52😵
They were speedy, and very helpful 68 (17😵
I got what I had requested after a reasonable amount of time 90 (22😵
It took some time, but I got what I had requested 21 (5😵
I never got the food or help that I requested 13 (3😵

All in all, those who asked for help, got it. Those that never received any help probably fell through the cracks of the program and, while regrettable, it is something that happens. What annoys me however, are the people who go through my polls and simply lie from question to question. Honestly now, if you don't feel like taking the poll, don't do it

Next, "Are you currently part of any of the eUS military or any militias? (IE: USAF, Ultramarines, JCS Forces, ST6, ect.)"

Yes 276 (69😵
No 126 (31😵

Once again, a jumping off question. This must have been an extremely boring poll

And, as a follow up, "If you aren't part of any armed force, why aren't you?"

I am currently part of one 283 (70😵
I used to be part of one, but quit 35 (9😵
The military/militia setting isn't for me 47 (12😵
I just dropped out do to inactivity 30 (7😵
I left the country to pursue other interests 7 (2😵

Now I get that people who lie and skew results are common in polls, but it still makes me depressed

"How would you rate Alexander Auctoritas' term this month?"

Great 48 (12😵
Above Average 103 (26😵
Average 202 (50😵
Below Average 21 (5😵
Poor 15 (4😵

In hindsight, I should have included an "I don't know what he has done" question as well, as that's probably where a large amount of the "Average" answers came from. Also, only 36 people found any issue with this term, so gg A^2

Next, I asked, "What is your view of Pizza the Hutt?"

Very Favorable 19 (5😵
Favorable 32 (8😵
Neutral/Unfamiliar 109 (27😵
Unfavorable 39 (10😵
Very Unfavorable 118 (29😵

Now, this question has a little irony wrapped in it. Before the late Pizza the Hut was banned, he messaged me and asked me to include him in the poll, and I obliged him. Now seeing as he has been banned recently, it turns into something of a memorial, to see what his influence was to players. As it turns out, he wasn't a revered player. Shocking. I added him to the poll after around 80 responses to it, so if you were one of those who didn't get to answer this question, I'm sorry

Next, "Do you have an account on our national forums? (eusaforums.com)"

Yes 274 (68😵
No 128 (32😵

Lots of people have accounts. Fantastic. Now, I had a feeling that this poll would receive a lot of people who forget what they answered three seconds prior, so I wanted to test something. The following two questions came with split pages, that sent you to different ones depending on your answer. Thinking about it, I probably should have done this with every question like this, but whatever

To those who answered yes, they received this question. "How active are you on the forums?"

I'm a regular there 52 (13😵
I go on often, but not everyday 43 (11😵
I check in once in a while to see if anything important happened 68 (17😵
I rarely go on 111 (28😵

The majority of people rarely join us on the forums, probably due to 2 clicking and whatnot. 95 people check in on a regular basis, so thats pretty cool I guess

To those who answered no, they received this question. "Why don't you have an account on our forums?"

I never knew the address 48 (12😵
I don't go on forums 70 (17😵
I don't like the community 10 (2😵

Lots of people don't like forums. Also, as a reminder to you guys, as you can see, 12% + 17% + 2% does not equal 100%. These numbers do add up to the numbers of people who answered no to the forum question however. I felt I should just put this in as a reminder.

And for my final question, I put in a little joke. "Who do you Voodoo bitch?"

mp 157 (39😵
Michael Porter 194 (48😵
Porter 50 (12😵

Now, for any who were wondering(and there were many who were), this is a reference to a game called Dead Island. I felt that I should put in a little joke at the end just for my own personal amusement

As I was going through and giving my analysis over each bit of data, I realized just how boring and unthought out the majority of these questions were. This month really pales in comparison to my former polls, and for that i'm sorry. I hope that next month I will be able to have more interesting questions relating to far more interesting things, so I hope you'll fill it out next month.

Thanks for reading
