Responding to the Unrespondable

Well everyone, I come to you today a man with one less title to display. In response to my EDEN article (http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/2091646/1/20), which revealed the work of the government over the last month and our relationship with EDEN, I have been fired as Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs. As vMoFA I followed all orders given to me by the President, which leads me to a bit of confusion:

Why was I fired?

I am not going to post PMs, unless of course Thanatos would care for that to be public. I will say that the given reason was claiming I represented the Government Position in my article. I invite the people of Ireland to check my article, I never claimed it as the "Government Position."

For the information of the people of Ireland, the Government Position has not been set in any Presidential Address, nor was it communicated clearly in any communication with MoFA. In addition, cutting ties with EDEN requires Congressional Action, which Thanatos agreed to, but the Impeachment and several other matters have derailed the work of Congress on the EDEN discussion. So as of yet, there is no Government Position. In fact, my last orders from the President were to work with EDEN for getting our future war squared away.

There is another article that seeks to discredit me. I find it interesting that someone who is not in the Cabinet knows about my being fired even before the President has seen fit to alert Congress, and mere minutes after he alerted me.

I take this article to the public, because I think it is important to know that a member of the Cabinet is no longer in their position. In his PM to me, Thanatos stated that he would give me no opportunity to respond to the charges, nor would he respond to anything I wrote in a PM, therefore the only recourse is public discourse. I needed to respond to the unrespondable. I feel I have served Ireland loyally, and while not wholeheartedly proEDEN (despite the slander being spewed), Ireland is an EDEN Nation. That fact will remain until the rightfully elected Congress of Ireland votes to change it.
