Respect Irish Freedom

Currently Irelands Minister of Defence and Commander of the Irish Army MUFC92 is temporarily banned. The reason for which he is banned is for displaying a member of the IRA as his profile avatar. In my opinion this is idiotic and unfair on the Irish population.



The IRA played a key role of the establishment of Ireland. Without their founding our state may have never been freed from British rule. When the troubles began the IRA fought to protect the Irish Nationalists from Unionist and British forces.



The IRA is a proud part of Irish freedom.

If I were to report a British player for using a British soldier as an avatar would he break the rules?

What if this image offends with, I find it insulting as the British brought depression and death to the Irish.



As far back in history as the plantations, when Oliver Cromell came over and slaughtered a whole town to send a message. The holocaust the British let happen during The Great Famine, the murdering and torture they inflicted on the Irish population the time of the Wexford rebellions. It is believed that during this time they killed more Irish than the amount of dead during the French Reign Of Terror.



What about the executions the British carried out on our leaders of 1916. The bombing of Dublin during the rebellion. The murder and killings of Irish civilians throughout history. What about Bloody Sunday both south and north of the border. What about the British occupation of our six counties.



Any symbol of Britain offends me. They have brought more death to Ireland than believed.

British soldiers images can offend anyone who has been a victim of their imperialism.
