Resource Wars Update:

Spinning Nazi wheels similar to resource wars

Resource Wars:

I was hoping to wait to write an article about the resource wars after we got our first resource. You know maybe a few hours into the event or a day at most?

Turns out we are still shut out. I assume most people have not been paying attention like I have so I can tell you we have come very close to a win on at least 3 occasions in the past 24 hours.

Getting a resource is like having two Roulette wheels spinning at once and having the same number come up on both wheels at the exact same time.

Some interesting facts I never really paid attention to about determination points:

0-30 minutes you get 10 points per minute per division

30-60 minutes you get 20 points per minute per division

60-90 minutes you get 30 points per minute per division

90-120 minutes you get 60 points per minute per division

There is at least a 5 minute break between campaigns. In a battle if one division is waiting to finish the delay to the other divisions can be up to 30 minutes. This is significant cut in your points per minute.

Battle Orders:

As you all should be aware our standing orders are to win all RW’s and loose all directs. We hit a snag with the UAE war as it closed due to borders. We are in the process of restarting the war.

If you see us throw up CO against ourselves in a RW we are winning it will be because we want to put the breaks on the points we are getting temporarily.

This would be an ideal strategic situation to be in, breaking, not chasing.

Conclusion:

I’m still confident we will have a successful resource event. Some nations have already gotten their limit. A lot of countries can no longer place certain resource types because of the distance restrictions.

Canada because of our large isolated northern territory regions makes it nearly impossible to block us from any resource.

As time goes by there will be less completion for resources and timing to the second less important.

Yours Respectfully,
