Resource bonuses for distant regions
Leonardo.DiCaprio
On Tuesday, Day 2,387, a change to the “Transport route to capital” rule will be introduced. The change will be implemented shortly after the Day Change.
Resource bonuses for distant regions
Before, in order to gain a resource bonus from a region, the region had to have a direct connection to the capital.
After the change, countries will benefit from regions which don’t have a direct route to the capital. Instead of the standard 20% resource bonus, countries will gain a bonus of 10% from distant regions.

A few examples:
- If a country has Grain, Cattle and Fruits with a direct connection to the capital, and fish as a distant region, the combined resource bonus will be 70%.
- If a country has, for example, many Cattle regions and some of them are connected to the capital while some are not, the country will still receive a 20% resource bonus from Cattle as it did before.
Please notice that this change won’t remove the promised 50% minimum production for the Founding Fathers of the new countries.

i still don't

yea me too just copy paste 😛
all this means is that little countries will be permanently occupied by bigger countries. Before you wouldn't invade switzerland because you'd need a route to the coast, then to your home territories.
now anyone, say paraguay or chile, can airstrike in an use our regions for resource bonuses, even if they don't have any italian, french, german, or austrian regions
expect all the small countries to disappear
