Resistance Wars

Day 2,043, 22:58 Published in India Albania by Ruler of The New World
Preamble

For eIndia, in numerous territories once occupied by the mother country there have been many Resistance Wars. Are they Effective? What have they achieved? Do they serve a purpose these are just some of the question this article will answer. It will be subdivided into two sections "Pros" and "Cons" each describing the benefits and disadvantages (respectively) that apply to the people of eIndia and the nation itself.

Pros

1. eIndia is weak. There is no possible way to worm our ways out of the fact. With only one territory left, we are financially unstable, militarily weak, socially inapt. The victory in Resistance Wars will increase territory boosting gross domestic product (GDP), exports, income and general regional power.

2. The process of war in the New World is complex. By fighting not only does the nation grow more experienced (via income of XP points) but also thronged as military rank is increased. This will further our somewhat nonexistent military standing.

3. The victory in resistance wars and other campaigns in general will make the nation appear more formidable, both in eRepublik records and also I the minds of other citizens. This may appear tenuous but an abrupt increase in power may lead to an immigration spree, also improving our work force and numbers.

Cons

1. War is expensive, weapons, food and in the case of resistance wars the war itself must be paid for. With the economic abyss that eIndia is in, I believe that we are incapable of successfully completing a resistance war, or any war in general. All tough we may have a few rich philanthropists who dedicate their treasure troves to campaigning, the vast majority of,eIndian have inadequate funding, very much similar to the real world.

2. War takes energy and time which lowers the time citizens can spend in production, politics and economy; three of the four main activities in the game. This will not only lead us to further debt, but also make us weaker financially and in the boardroom.

Conclusion

In the past fortnight eIndia has participated in no less than 8 resistance wars, none of which have been successful. If eIndia wishes to become the power it once was we must bide our time and in the words of Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean, wait for the opportune moment. Arnold Schwartzenegger once said "I'll be back." And thats what India will do, just not yet we must build our stores and evolve our military so when the opportune moment does come we can strike and emerge victorious. TO INFINITY, INDIA AND BEYOND!!!!!
