Resistance Groups, the PEACE Treaty and ePatriotism

Day 638, 16:16 Published in USA USA by Blake Chrysostom

Two weeks ago, I was one of the ones who formed the Sons of Liberty, pledging to give up our own personal gain and political agenda to fight PEACE wherever and whenever possible. Then and now, we gave up a political infighting to bring eAmericans together to fight for freedom for ourselves and others against regimes that conquer for the sake of spite and/or better access to natural resources. I am proud to be one of such a dedicated group of eAmericans. In this, Ananias and our friends at eNova have been a bit ahead of the curve, and I salute them for recognizing the eUSA’s selflessness deficit and trying to think of ways to get people active and involved in making our nation greater. Riding a groundswell of patriotic fervor, my friends in the SoL and I felt more ready and willing than ever to fight on behalf of eAmerica.
===============================

Then came the treaty. It divided friends and made them enemies. It separated the eUSA into the supposed camp of cowards vs. the camp of patriots, and even members of patriotic organizations designed to put aside political warfare, like the Sons of Liberty, took part in it. I too was horrified at what I considered a “cowardly” act of our Congress and President.
==============================

That was a mistake. By denouncing those in favor of the treaty as cowards or traitors, the eUSA continued to sow the seeds of our own destruction by utilizing that particular talent our nation has for infighting. Once again, our weapons turned to one another, instead of to our PEACE enemy, some of whom have ignored the olive branch of peace and continued on their trail of conquest.
================================

Most of those congressmen who voted for the treaty did so out of a genuine belief that it was the right thing to do, just as most of those who voted against it. My friends in Congress tell me that the debate on this issue was extensive, and many chose to vote yes on it out of concern for the country, knowing it may very well mean the end of their political career when they would be labeled as sell-outs and traitors.
==================================

So, while I may not agree with the treaty, and as the attempt itself seems to be floundering, I respect the opinions of people on both sides of the debate. This doesn’t mean that I can’t think the treaty was a bad idea, and I still do, by the way. But it seems hypocritical that as one of those people proudly denouncing the eUSA’s former political divisions, I was myself taking part in dividing our country further over this issue. And as a Sons of Liberty leader, I would like to unofficially apologize for the participation of the Sons of Liberty in the political fallout of the treaty.
===================================

It has become clear, though, after the attempt at a treaty, that many within PEACE have no intention of making peace with the eUSA, at least not until they’ve stripped us of our resources and left us with next to nothing.
=====================================

Therefore, I urge all eAmericans to get active in the resistance, whether through our military, the Sons of Liberty, eNOVA, POTATOE, (yes, I think these non-partisan American resistance groups are eminently useful) or others who are organizing for the ongoing conflict with those who have wrongfully robbed us and so many of our allies of our rightful lands. Let us leave political posturing and blind personal ambition behind. If there’s one thing we’ve learned from Ajay Bruno, it is how distasteful these characteristics can be in our political process. Let us leave this all behind, even if it means the end of our country as we know it. If that is the lesson we have to learn from being utterly destroyed by the forces of PEACE, then it was a worthwhile lesson.

Don’t Tread on Me, PEACE.
