After three months in Romania I decided to quit my job here. Thanks to Carmen, optminus and of course Bogdan Armand Sibrand. I can say that they are my true friends and I am happy that I had the opportunity to meet them. Also, I’m very grateful to simon santo and ghishae for the awesome initiation that they participated in.
Actually, I quit a lil bit disappointed. Last month I received no answer from president smif and the both social ministers. This month is the same - Alex Craciun said that he will give me a short interview, but whole week there is no answer. Also, the new MoFAs obviously have different style of work and the diplomatic team is not necessary. Аnother proof that I’m not wanted here are the words of Grissom, who said that “presidents must talk with presidents”. It seems that I'm not worthy enough to communicate with the Romanian leaders. Ok, let it be so…

Maybe you reconsider NKFV...
It is correct presidents should talk to presidents, and MoFA to MoFA. And Romanian president did not talk to a lot of people this week, you should not feel "cast aside".
Ambassador should just "meddle in" and be used if necessary by presidents or MoFA for negotiation etc. And of course promote his country to normal people. So you should stay to promote Bulgaria as you are a very active player and bring a lot of positive attitude to Bulgarian-Romanian relations.

I am sure the Romanian ambassador in Bulgaria (whoever he is, if there even is one) receives a different treatment😁.

From my short experience as an ambassador I know it can be very hard to talk to the officials as you don't really have any authority.
I guess the best thing to do in this position is to try to promote the interests of your country to the respective community...
