Ignoring the legal conception of the phrase and focusing on the direct translation of it, I want to announce in-game that I am searching for a group of contributors to write for this newspaper. I wish I could write more frequently but I cannot.
First, this presents an opportunity to those without newspapers or those who want to cross-promote their papers. Second, these writers will be paid for their work. Moreover, each piece of work will be attributed to the writer. Third, any number of topics can be broached; I'll have final say on whether to publish or not but I don't anticipate turning down any quality work. I think I said something like this.
Not only that but they don't need to "have the drive to write often". Maybe they only have one article they really want to write and a story that needs told and it's not worth 2 gold to tell it. Maybe they're new and don't *have* 2 gold yet.
Anyhow Mr Kennedy I think it's a great idea and a good use of an extant resource. I look forward to reading the contributions. I'd subscribe but I already did that.
