Res Belgica's Own: Aldous For PP

To the members of Res Belgica
I would like hereby to anounce my candidacy for becoming Party President of our party, which comes on a very short notice and quite unexpected to myself as well, but it should be considered as a safety measure - the only other candidate is not familiar to the RB party officials and his intentions with our party are still unknown.
Those of you who visit our party forum will probably know me, but for those who don't - I'm one of the oldest still active members of Res Belgica (formerly known as the National Democratic Front, and the Belgian Revolutionary Party before that) and for most of my time in the party I've been the Commissioner for Social Services & Health, a field of action which lies very closely to my heart.
Our party has been less active on the eBelgian political scene lately, but as the new PP I would continue to build on the pilars this party was founded on - independence, neutrality and democracy. Having no connections with any foreign government, Res Belgica managed to remain truelly neutral as probably the only party in eBelgium, maintaining a constructive attitude towards all political sides in our country, but not afraid to criticize if needed, unregardless party affiliation or alliance orientation. This policy should be maintained.
The socially conscious character of our party should also continue to be pursued - the social budget to support new citizens has always been an important part of our party budget, and this should remain so in the future. Understanding that new players are the future of our nation, Res Belgica will try to make life in eBelgium as attractive for them as possible.
Having in mind that every 15th of each month is considered by some as "take over time", I would advise our fellow party members to use this opportunity to gain an extra experience point by safeguarding the unique spirit of our party and voting for the right person. Not knowing my opponent's plans and intentions, against all modesty I'll have to say that under the circumstances this will be me.

There's a chain of cheap supermarkets in Belgium (and in some other European countries a s well) called Aldi 😛 But thanks anyway, Manong, and thanks to those who have voted for me 😉
Although my opponent has remained silent, he aparently wasn't really trying to PTO our party.
Really? I think there's an Aldi in Illinois, USA, and they are also sell less-prized stuff. Interesting. 😃
