This is to mark the passing of the NHS and BEF, two fine Military Units that I can remember fighting courageously against the French to regain eUK.
Why have they gone? Because a strong military controlled by the government is needed according to our CP. It's a fine idea but do you achieve that by effectively disbanding the government MUs? Of course it may simply be that the party in power wanted to give us its idea of “Unity”, which is the total fragmentation of the military arm of eUK government handing all control to the private MUs.
Some people say that private MUs are the way forward but are they? Whilst most MUs follow the lead show by the MoD in their DO, there is no requirement for them to do so, how is that government control? Other people say the government can't afford to fund units like the NHS and BEF and that private MUs can consistently provide supplies at a high level, tell that to the Dragoons!!
I really do believe that its time that people woke up to the disintegration being caused in the name of “Unity”. Yes, there is “Strength through Unity” so show your strength by uniting with the others that care about having a strong eUK and stop TUP flushing eUK down the toilet by voting against them come the next election.

Who founded both those MUs? TUP did. Now we can't afford it were moving to a new model. If you can think of a better model with the funding available I'd like to hear it.

Sexagenarian- This is my 41st term in the UK government. For three+ years I've devoted hours of my time and all my skill for the bettering of this country. When I was CP I personally devoted more than 1.5m currency (1,614,412 to be exact) of my own money to funding the BEF and NHS to try and put off the moment we'd have to make these cuts.
In those 3+ years I've had many different cs. Sometimes to help supply the UK, mostly as an ambassador for our country. Don't spout trite crap at me.

As the president that started up both the NHS and the BEF, I'm sad to see them go. Unfortunately our income is so low that we can't afford them.

It would be great when the ones that do oppose disbanding BEF and privatizing the funds for NHS MU would have brought forward an alternative plan how to fund a better army.
We cannot afford to flush our last funds down the toilet and stay empty handed when someone tries to wipe us.

I have Polish citizenship in game, does that mean I'm meddling too? In-game citizenship makes very little difference (unless you're just fucking off to earn money or something). What's important is how and where you direct your energy and time. Iain has consistently supported the UK for years and continues to do so, that's far more telling than what his current in game citizenship is.
