Remember the Fallen - Avatar Competition!

It's been quiet here in eSouth Africa and we need something to liven the mood, bring a little entertainment to our community and excitement to our media.
I'm gonna run a 2 series competition, this first one being a guess the avatar type competition, specifically avatars of those that have left us over the years. A lot of newcomers won't recognise these, so you may have to do some research, dig through our history and archives on the forums.
The second part will be a almost impossible eSouth African quiz involving, well you guessed it, p tough questions based on our history.
Rules
1. 1 entry per person
2. South African citizens or former South African citizens only
3. The answers must be PM'd to me
4. If you're found to be sharing answers with friends, your entry will be disqualified
5. You get 1 point for every correct avatar and the winner will be the person with the most points overall
6. If 2 or more people share the most points, I'll do a random draw for the winner and runner up.
7. The competition closes Day 1179 at 03:00 game time
8. Please don't be a pooper and post the answers in comments 🙁
Prizes
The winner of this first competition will get himself 2 x Q5 weapons and 20 x Q2 food. The runner up will get 2 x Q3 weapons and 10 x Q2 food.
I'll also be giving prizes to the person with the most points in total, that is the person who has the most points in this competition and the quiz that will take place at a later date.

Great game! And I really like your selection, nice of you to put many old Assegai.
Oh boy, looking at these avatars brings back good memories...memories of a time when eSA was viewed as more than a spitting ground for the bigger powers. Back before admin screwed us by taking away the only raw material we had access to. Reminds me of frantic IRC convos trying to gather support to liberate our country.

I've had the pleasure of working with a few of the owners of these avatars (especially #8, he was one of my favorite Colonels). eSA sure isn't the same without them.
Cool seeing all those old DBers. I can find more than half of those people on our forum membership roll... and my friends list.

I recognize a lot of these, boy we have had some fun times here.
Got me going through my friends list. Made me sad to see how so many of these old friends are gone. Over half of the 300 are dead. Makes me feel like a fossil.

#4 was president when I started playing eRep...
Gawd I feel almost as old as the googly-eyed bastard now.
#4 was actually the one I had the most trouble with. I smacked myself on the head when I finally remembered. #14 gave me difficulties too as I knew the first name but associated it with a video game character, so the last name got mixed up.
